ENTiTY make switch to CS:GO

ENTiTY have informed HLTV.org they have shifted their focus to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The Macedonian team will follow in ESC Gaming's footsteps, opting to put Counter-Strike 1.6 aside to focus on Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment's new title Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

ENTiTY were last seen making an appearance at GameGune 2012 in Spain. The Macedonians were knocked out by zNation, exiting the tournament at a disappointing 9-12th place.

Questioned about the move, Anel "NENO" Ceković said they will not stop playing Counter-Strike 1.6 entirely, but that their main focus will be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Ceković reasoned the team's decision with the amount of tournament organizers who have dropped Counter-Strike 1.6 and that they want to be prepared if CS: Global Offensive goes big.

"With the lack of CS 1.6 tournaments lately, we've decided to make the switch to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If the game becomes a hit and gets picked up by event organizers, we'd like to be prepared so that we can compete on the highest level. We are not done with CS 1.6; however, our main focus will be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive from now on," Ceković told HLTV.org.

Moreover, ENTiTY are looking for an organization they can represent in their venture into the new game and can be contacted by e-mail at [email protected].

ENTiTY are:

 Anel 'NENO' Ceković
 Jovan 'N1GHTMARE' Derebanoski
 Semih 'osama' Kamil
 Aleksandar 'helius' Kiselinov
 Jovan 'kalaN' Kalanoski

North Macedonia Anel "NENO" Ceković
North Macedonia Jovan "N1GHTMARE" Derebanoski
North Macedonia Semih "osama" Kamil
North Macedonia Aleksandar "helius" Kiselinov

AWP is/was Delpan key-role in a team, so ^^ Well trace spraycontrol is better, wich ofc in itself is "a pretty huge" decider in CS, playing with rifle, but thats pretty much the most drastic difference, besides trace got more of a defensive orientated style, which in some teams and cases might baffle that team. But mostly It all depends in what role that team rly needs ofc. In some situations trace showed one of the most amazing pistol-skills, im aware of that, but Delpan pistol, especially dgl is not any much worse than Delpan awp and that tells you something. Sure trace can be put into use more allround as a top rifler but i'd say most ppls who knows this case well prefer Delpan awp 7 days a week over trace as plain awper-role in a team, and ther's a meaning why. Btw i think that "overall trace > 3 Delpans" is according to me such plain BS, especially if you look at CS with genuine knowledged eyes.

yea, everybody is saying that cs 1.6 died, ofc that the game will die because everybody leave 1.6 instead keeping to it, not switching to Global Offensive. If every team stayed on 1.6 and not switched to CS:GO, maybe the tournament organizers will choose not to remove 1.6 from the tournaments. If the teams that played 1.6 stayed with the thought "W8 wtf? Why everybody is switching to cs:go? Doesnt matter,f*ck them we will play cs 1.6" and not with "w8 everybody is switching do cs:go ? cs is dying, were switching to CS:Go"

People like you must accept the fact that money moves everything, CS:GO should be the CS which unites the source and 1.6 community, so CS can stay as the main fps game on big tournaments. Sponsors wont give a shit for a game which has 25k viewers on a final @ a big tournament.

Who are you to tell them to remove the name they went on for years and years? Plus, people like you only force 1.6 because they can't get good FPS on Global Offensive. It's a great game if you play it and I say this in sadness but most of us Macedonians are really close-minded when talking about games (people here only know about CS 1.6 and DotA, everything else is shit for them).

They switched to the game now so they can practice more and more before the big tournaments start hitting GO, so they can be better and level up with the former CSS teams, which have an advantage due to both games being on the same engine.

almost every team who is making switch to cs go said that : We are not done with CS 1.6; however, our main focus will be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive from now on,"

First lets make it clear. First Entity is not an organisation, its a name of a team. Second, why the fuck u guys discuss about friis or xizt or someone else in this thread, dont you read the title on the begining? Stop with stupid trolling discussion on each thread. Third,This is the right decision, because everyone knew cs 1.6 will die sooner or later,2012 is the doomsyear of CS 1.6 . Entity will continue playing CS 1.6 until there are tournaments, which means till the end of 2012,not any longer:)
