WEG e-Stars getting closer

Last time we saw an life signs from WEG were back in 2006. Back then the wNv managed to win versus compLexity on two maps, and win their second WEG event in a row along with 70,000$.

It's been quite a while since the WEG Masters with many great CS 1.6 teams, wNv, SK, NoA, complexity and many more. But, do not worry. WEG announced a while ago, that they will be hosting WEG e-Stars in August. Today we have a bunch of information for you guys. The WEG e-Stars will consist of 4 CS 1.6 teams, and eight WC3 players. The CS 1.6 will have a prize pole of amazing 45,000$. The winner will walk away with 25,000$ along with the title.

The four CS 1.6 teams attending are:

Sweden fnatic - dsn, ins, Archi, cArn & f0rest
Brazil mibr - cogu, fnx, nak, bit & bruno
Korea eSTRO - hee, solo, termi, miffy & bail
China X7-Hacker - baeseulki, forever, zy, K1ngZ & BB

The event will take place in Seoul, South Korea. The event will last twelve days, and starting the 9th of August.

Here are the schedule:

9th of August
11:00 CET – Sweden fnatic vs Korea eSTRO
12:00 CET – Brazil mibr vs China X7-Hacker
13:00 CET – Sweden fnatic vs China X7-Hacker
10th of August
11:00 CET – Brazil mibr vs Korea eSTRO
12:00 CET – Sweden fnatic vs Brazil mibr
13:00 CET – Korea eSTRO vs China X7-Hacker

The Grand Final will feature the two teams ending first and second in the groupplay.

12th of August
11:00 CET – Grand Final

All times can change, but we will update you as soon as we know anything. But rely on these times to start with.
