cogu talks CS:GO return

TargeTDown star Raphael "cogu" Camargo has shared his view on his return to competitive gaming and voiced his opinion that 1.6 players will have the edge in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The former Made in Brazil ace, who has earned the reputation as one of the finest AWPers in the history of the game, announced last month his return to action after retiring from the game in 2009.

Camargo also played CS:S during the CGS era, and when questioned if he feels Source players will feel the most comfortable when making the transition to CS:GO, he tipped 1.6 players to rule the new game.

"Do not try to play CS:GO like if it is the new 1.6, do not compare the two games after every shot," he told Teamplay.com.br.

"Be humble enough to start over. With time, the experience from 1.6 will resurface and bring the advantages that you need to dominate CS:GO.

"That is what I am doing right now and I am sure that I am on the right path."

The Brazilian ace then commented on his return to action after almost three years on the sidelines and dismissed the notion that he has a lot of catching up to do.

"Playing is in my blood, in my DNA," he said. "So this return means that I will give my best for everything I have always believed in, and with the dedication and the support of the Brazilian fans, who have always been on my side, I expect to meet expectations and, who knows, to surpass them.

"I think CS:GO is an excellent opportunity to return, because it is a new game.

"Everyone will have to adapt, so I do not think I am at a disadvantage, this challenge will be pure adrenaline. I feel very motivated."

Where are you warped people getting this idea that every CS:GO team is being payed trillions of dollars to play the game? This is what e-sports needs, Like it or not this is the new FPS e-sports title ... Or Halo 4 if that's your thing.

dude, in the interview he said that he quit his job to play, im saying that he is back just because the new sponsors and his new team are going to pay more than what he was getting in his job, simple as that and that shitty talk like "playing is in my DNA, CSGO is revolution, we all should switch to GO" is just to market his comeback i couldnt care less about the FPS scene, i am not playing cs anymore (just tf2 4fun as fps), i am a moba player now and i am fully supporting dota2 but i cant see the best fps of all time turning into ashes "forced" for some shit and unfinished new game, csgo is sad.

I don't see problems in it too. I mentioned in my comment #40 that he's back because of the money and it sounded like it's something bad, but I don't think so :) We need money to live
