EPS open qualifiers announced

The Electronic Sports League (ESL) has announced that it will hold three open qualifiers for the first season of the German CS:Global Offensive EPS.

Until the end of the month, the ESL will put together three tournaments to hand out six places in the CS:GO EPS league, which will replace the 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source tournaments.

The only requirements for teams to sign up for these open qualifiers is that they have at least three players residing in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or Liechtenstein and that all of their members have a Premium account and are at least Level 3 Trusted.

Open Cup #1 - September 9 - SIGN UP
Open Cup #2 - September 16 - SIGN UP
Open Cup #3 - September 23 - SIGN UP

Each tournament will reward the top two placed teams with a spot in the EPS season. mTw and dotpiXels have already qualified for the tournament after winning the last EPS edition in CSS and 1.6, respectively.

The last four spots in the EPS season will be determined through two invite cups which will feature teams from the last EPS and EAS tournament in both 1.6 and CSS.

Meanwhile, the ESL has determined that the map pool for the open tournaments will consist of de_dust2_se, de_inferno_se, de_train_se, de_nuke_ve and de_mirage_csgo, with the following restrictions being enforced:

It is possible to purchase only four grenades
You can only purchase two flash grenades
All weapons and grenades are allowed

Could ask you the same. Though if I'm not wrong he said he's getting old and he's not really motivated to play a new game. Also he said that he don't really know the others of his team beside gaming and he didn't know what you guys gonna do. CS:GO/stop gaming etc. pp I think you got what I want to say.

Yes thats true, what he said on ESL TV - but not always the truth is out for the public now is it? Get a life and stop thinking you know everything when you know absolutely NOTHING about what will happen.

What is the point in saying "get a life". I don't really get it. For me it sounded like a clear and quite sure statement of him. Probably my german is better than yours. You're mistaken since I don't really talk anything about germans on here because the german scene is just full of dumb/ignorant and faggots. Not all obviously. In this point I just stated it from the stuff I know. You're not in romans head so you probably don't know more than I do as you said by yourself.

4 grenades and 2 flashes, thats op imo, i kinda liked only have 1 flash, it makes you really think about where you are gonna use it

1 flash restricts gameplay and strats, people will be forced to do very basic bombsite takes with the best flashes.
