TeG qualify for DH Bucharest

The Elder Gods have secured a wildcard for DreamHack Bucharest after defeating Earthquake 2-1 in the final of the first online qualifier.

The Romanian stop in the DreamHack tour will place next month, and the national qualifiers for that which will be one of the last big 1.6 tournaments of the year are already underway.

TeG and Earthquake had been highly favoured to contest the final, and they did not fail to impress despite the fact that they were both forced to play with a stand-in due to one of their players being unable to take part in the tournament.

Eq, who came from the Lower Bracket, forced the match into a second map after winning 16-10 on de_nuke, but TeG came out the stronger on de_mirage in the very last round to seal a 16-14 victory.

TeG have now become the seventh team confirmed at DreamHack Bucharest, which will take place from October 20-21, with the participants' list looking as follows:

there is no "best team" in romania ...its random between igg eq teg ......igg did dominate the scene for the last year though

In this moment Eq > TeG and more then that IGG > TeG, they didn't beat IGG in 1 year I think, maybe more. (btw Eq > IGG).

In this game "equally strong" doesn't exists.. Maybe IGG is "older" than Eq as team but..they are better. My opinion !

i think this qualify was nonsense, why didn't they let this 2 romanian teams play (especially they're the 2 best) for this event i dont understand..

there are 4 romanian qualifiers ....wich is already too much for this tournament since romanian teams wont win a single match ...imo only 2 teams should of been invited and all the other slots go to international teams that acutally deserve them ....romanian teams are just trash , not worthy of this competition

yes, my bad didn't noticed first time that this is just the first qualifier.. i dunno, if this is the case already, that this event founded in Bucharest, i would give the chance for more "indoor" teams.. so im glad to hear there are at least 4 romanian qualifiers altough they're not at the same level..

wiki is definitely strong than anexis, especially now since snappi has quit. Also I think there will be some strong mix teams from Russia and Sweden that can beat half of those teams you've listed right now. There really isnt a top10 anymore
