Match-making update confirmed

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive developer team has confirmed that a "major update" will be released at the start of next week.

On Wednesday, a tweet post from the brains behind CS:GO included a picture which suggested that an improved match-making system was in the pipeline, a change the community is yearning for.

The developing team has now confirmed that a "revised match-making system" is on the way, while stating that "a ton of bugs" will be fixed, based on community feedback.

Two new maps will also be introduced with this new update: the classic de_vertigo and ar_monastery.

Well, what he was saying is Valve will do update the game but they will be minor fixes here and there just like they did with Source. But it was just a wild guess by him. Its not like he doesnt want them to update the game. Also the last patch was disappointing. Anyways, lets see what and how many bugs are fixed this time. =DD

The best thing so far is that for now, there is no cheats in Counter-Strike GO. And the matchmaker is perfect

there is cheats in GO couple days ago i was just playing on dust as ct 2 sec after round start the guy pop up in ct spawn and headshot whole team round ended in less than 5 sec so speed hack and aimbot for sure probably wallhack too

why recoil? LOL CS:GO isn't CS1.6, so you need practice recoil @DM like other guys. and don't forget CS:GO is new game for all, so all guys start play the game at the same level. :)

I wouldn't count on that, the way they developed CS:GO was to give the players the same experience no matter what your gaming rig is, that's why you can't put really low textures, change DX level etc. They wanted to avoid the CS:S flash exploits by changing your DirectX, and other bugs. I just hope this update fixes the low optimisation, people with insane rigs keep getting 10 fps instead of 300.

I have a HD6850 and 25~60 fps on cs:go (low settings). I played bf3 and mw3 with much more fps!

fps in CSGO BETA was higher than after update. It's why I hope that they fix fps to higher as in CSGO BETA.

About gameplay -recoil and movement-, it's definitely better than Source. About graphics, it's definitely better than 1.6. But still needs to greatly improve the gameplay. In my point view will be a great game because they are doing what should have done a long time ago ... Listening to the community. There are still some things to change, and with the feedback from the community, they will reach the goal, but the question is ... When?
