NiP win EMS qualifier

Ninjas in Pyjamas came out on top of the Swedish EMS qualifier following a 2-0 victory over orgless in the final.

The registration for the qualifier ended at lunchtime, just one hour prior to the start of the tournament, and the number of participants certainly fell behind expectations, with only seven teams signing up.

As the top seed, NiP did not even have to play the first two rounds, which means that they were automatically placed in the semi-finals.

After moving past SY&bitches, the DreamHack Valencia champions went on to defeat orgless on de_mirage and de_nuke 16-3 and 16-9, respectively, to secure a spot in the ESL's $5,000 European league.

In the third-place decider, Absolute Legends, who boast the likes of André "BARBARR" Möller and Dennis "dennis" Edman, cruised to a 16-3 victory over SY&bitches to secure a spot in the European Qualifying Round 1.
