TyLoo win ECL 2012 Season 4

TyLoo has managed to defend their championship at the ECL 2012 Season 4 finals yesterday by defeating ZINCTHAI 16-8 in the grand final on de_dust2 to win 10,000 RMB (~$1,570).

The season 4 finals of eSports Champion League 2012 took place this past weekend in Beijing, China, with TyLoo, ZINCTHAI, ETeng and New4 participating after having qualified online.

After two weeks of online qualification and the aforementioned teams qualifying, both ETeng and New4 had to withdraw from the event due to K1 League Season 2 currently taking place in Shanghai.

Replacement teams were zzcy and SESP, but the latter were unable to make the trip to Beijing and as a result only three teams participated in this season's finals.

The double-elimination bracket started with zzcy defeating ZINCTHAI 16-11 on de_nuke, only to lose against favorites TyLoo 12-16 on de_nuke. In a rematch of the first round, zzcy came up short 4-16 on the same map.

The grand finals took place on de_dust2 with TyLoo coming in from the upper bracket and only requiring one win to clinch the title. The defending champions wasted no time, as they defeated ZINCTHAI 16-8.

ECL 2012 Season 4 final standings:

1. China TyLoo - 10,000 RMB ($~1,570)
2. China ZINCTHAI - 4,000 RMB (~$630)
3. China zzcy - 2,000 RMB ($315)

TyLoo will participate in WCG 2012 China next weekend in CS: Online with over $14,000 in prizes, followed up by the semi-finals of K1 League Season 2, also in the city of Shanghai.

They are also participating in PCG League, 5eplay SteelSeries League Spring and will attend what could be their final CS 1.6 tournament, ECL 2012 Final of the Year, set to take place in January 2013.

well,the Chinese lunar calendar indeed make it difficulty for foreigner to understand,as usually,Spring Festival happens on February of every year in Gregorian calendar,it means a new of year in lunar calendar is coming,that says the December of lunar calendar actually is January of next year in the Gregorian calendar...

Lol i'd rather play cs:P than playin that cs:O (Skinz sucks a lot, it would be nice in zombie plague mod, but in real skill mod it really sucks)

unfortunatly, these are the original skinz if you try to replace it it like replacing 1.6 skinz by another from FPSBANANA (so it would lag as hell) ... but maybe yes i agree with you I just won a cs:GO Key product and i'll try it xD

cs:go won't go big in China based on the fact that CF has largest number of players though the game is shit like cs:go.;
