ex-BEASTS win MCR 2012

ex-BEATS came out on top of MCR 2012 following a 16-14 victory against nEophyte in the final.

The tournament, which took place inside the Jezerka Congress Hotel in Seč, a city in the region of Pardubice, attracted a total of eight teams, seven from the Czech Republic and one from Slovakia.

After a group strage, played in best-of-one, the tournament moved on to the double-elimination play-offs, with the Upper Bracket using a best-of-three mode, while the Lower Bracket entirely used best-of-one.

ex-BEASTS booked the first spot in the Grand Final after defeating eXtatus two maps to one in the Upper Bracket final, being joined by nEophyte, who came from the Lower Bracket.

The Slovakian side won the first half of de_dust2_se 9-6, and even though nEophyte took the score to 14-11 after the break, Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovacs' team won the remaining rounds to turn the score around and win the tournament.
