n!faculty replace RuSh3D at ESWC

Following Russian RuSh3D's inability to attend ESWC 2012, the French event organizer has invited German n!faculty to the $20,000 CS:GO tournament taking place this week.

Without any LAN tournament experience in the new Counter-Strike version, n!faculty have so far lost ESL Go4CSGO 14 final against SY_b, and managed a 3-1-3 record in EPS Winter 2012, including a draw against mouz last week.

n!faculty also took part in the German ESWC qualification, where they managed no wins before falling victim to Tt Dragons, whom went on to lose against eventual winners Team xXx, now known as mousesports.

n!faculty at ESWC 2012:

Germany Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu
Germany Christoph "disruptor" Dölger
Germany Andrè "Kirby" Kempa
Italy Benjamin "qk-Mantis" Oberlein
Germany Simon "smn" Beck

ESWC 2012's finalized participant list now looks as follows:

Sweden NiP France ESWC France winner
Germany mousesports United Kingdom fm.TOXiC
United States Area51 Denmark Anexis
Netherlands LowLandLions Poland ESC Gaming
Brazil ProGaming.TD Germany n!faculty

ESWC 2012 will kick off on Thursday with the CS:GO tournament starting on Friday. HLTV.org will be on-site in Paris to provide you with full coverage of CS:GO's first major tournament.

So because you think one team is sub par you don't want to watch. If that were the case we should of stopped 1.6 in 2010. That's sorta why the 2012 events sucked after CPh.

Moreover i guess cph wolves, k1ck, ASES , BEMYFRAG are dissapointed cuz they would have bring more interesting games... it's a fucking joke, wp eswc once again.

I fail to comprehend any logic in this decision, I can think of at least 10 other teams that should be considered to be invited before considering this team, I know i will look like an arrogant douche from posting this, but for the greater good of the CS:GO community, I'm willing to look that way. Let me list them up for you. Copenhagen Wolves: A Danish organisation that ALWAYS have top teams under their wings, they have a team consisting of danish source players who has done well both nationally and internationally Mousesports (UK) : This is the team that won the source tournament of Copenhagen games 2012 no more needs to be said. Fnatic : Don't know if they play CS:GO yet, but they have played CS:online and might be looking for a reason to play this game, They are a huge powerhouse within Esport and looking at the previous ESWC reasoning they should be considered as well. Number 2 ,3 or 4 of the french qualifier : The french scene is really strong and have the potential to do some serious damage, however only one team can go through the qualifier, but the top4 still has a shot at doing great and raise the bar of the teams of the ESWC tournament as it is now, Both Caramba and Winfakt : Finnish top teams that consist of great players that have great results with them and are doing well in the CS:GO game. TeaM_x : Swedish team that are doing well and consist of known players and have decent results. Even gosu : A team of norwegian players that have just won a lan and are doing decent and making a name of themselves - they could be considered to be underdogs. And there are probably teams that I have forgotten as well! I know that it is required to apply for getting an invitation, however, there HAS to be other teams that have applied that would be a better suit for this major tournament :P I am sorry for launching at the n!faculty team and organisation, but I truly believe this is such a poor decision. I understood their decision about inviting the huge 1.6 teams/organisations and ignoring the CS:GO results so far, even considering the public relations they could get for inviting teams from lets say india or china would make sense, but Mouz from germany are already there representing germany so why invite another german team?!?!? Inviting a middle class team to such a huge tournament.... It's just not good enough when this tournament is supposed to represent the best teams in the world! My point is - step up your game ESWC! And just to be clear, this is MY opinion, not a reflection of my team or 3DMAX - Only mine.

I'm talking about the old 1.6ers. They definitely shook up the 1.6 scene when they burst forth. By my statement, I'm implying it would be great to see a CS:GO team from Korea onboard. Clear enough?

i actually pretty easily beat a team like n!faculty, and alternate for that sake with my own team. And so would any other team of the ones xlo listed. You have to be objective, im sure n!faculty will put alot of effort into it now, but with such short time its just not enough and candidates for me would be: Mouz/Millenium

Perhaps... however ESC haven't shown any good results in CS:GO either, but they still get the invite based on former results of their respective game, in that case Mouz.uk are definitely eligible as well :) Personally I understand the invite of ESC

Okay, I didn't know, But please read my post :D I am not against the invitation of the ESC team, I grew up with them as some of my idols in gaming and I understand the reasoning for inviting them I'm just pointing out some flaws in the way ESWC are running this concerning especially this decision :)

I quote my self :D "And there are probably teams that I have forgotten as well!" I wrote this kind of fast since I'm at work - just took the ones that I could come up with at the current time

Then please, be my guest, list them, because teams that are better than caramba are also candidates for the invite! But please, be rational, it has to be of interest of the tournament so they can get more public attention, or they need to have results that can make them a suitable candidate for the invitation :)

You have very nice manners but caramba, in my opinion is just a good team not a top team , there are many teams that can beat them in Europe ,even in Spain there are two, and we do not have much level as you know. anyway i respect your opinion.

Actually I wanted you to write some teams and tell me, why you believe they deserve at least some consideration for the invitation, but caramba is still better suited than n! for this invitation if you ask me. Basically I was hoping you would list the teams you believe are suitable for an invite to support my point :P
