Cph Wolves win DreamHack qualifier

Copenhagen Wolves have secured entry into this year's DreamHack Winter tournament after coming out on top of the Danish qualifier.

A total of 15 teams from across Denmark signed up for the tournament, organised by Gaming.dk, with hopes of securing the one spot that would take to Jönköping, Sweden, from November 22nd-24th.

The qualifier used a double-elimination mode, with the Upper Bracket matches being played in best-of-three, while the Lower Bracket ones were played in best-of-one.

Copenhagen Wolves assured themselves of a place in the Grand Final following a 2-1 victory agaisnt 3DMax in a keenly-contested match, but found themselves up against Anexis in the tournament decider.

After losing the first half of de_dust2_se 8-7, Wolves turned the score around in the second half, in which they were playing as Terrorists, to win the match 16-13 and qualify for DreamHack Winter.

Why not? The best team in denmark wins the qualifier and it is "not expected"? And if you do not see them as the best team then surely they are top3.

You could have written "I had no clue to who would win since i do not know/have a clue about the danish scene" Expecting implies that you have a clue.

Don't get mad because i point out that you are clueless in this matter. And the word "could" implies it as a suggestion. Starting to think you have a problem expressing yourself.

I think rizc said it best: Anexis had their turn to shine at ESWC, and now it's CPH Wolves' turn.

Our scene in DK is very strong atm. Anexis, Copenhagen Wolves, 3DMAX, EYES ON U and now fnatic seems to switch to CS:GO. So Danish dominance within the next couple of months. You heard it first from me.
