EvilZone lose two
EvilZone have confirmed the departure of two of its players including Sam "kvicken" Alvandpour and Arash "kylie" Parashpar.
EvilZone have always been present in the major competitions, attending both the national ESWC, WCG and KODE5 Final qualifiers. However, they have never been able to compete amongst the ranks of fnatic and SK Gaming and after their more recent performance at the KODE5 Qualifiers last weekend comes these changes.
The team were unable to perform anywhere near to the standards we are used to, losing to Skillz of Borås in the opening round of the knockout stage. As a result both Avandpour and Parashpar have been removed from the roster, a move that also seems motivated by problems within the squad. Sonny "raxxe" Olofsson spoke to GotFrag.com and had the following to say:
We had some problems with the line-up before the LAN event but we decided to stay with the original team to make a better result. Our goal was to take out some of the good teams and make it to top3, but after the bad results we, together with the management, decided to make some changes in the team.
EvilZone are already making prepartions for replacements but until a new team is announced, EvilZone's line-up currently looks like this:
Sonny "raxxe" Olofsson
Jimmy "Nippo" Posth
Kim "Like" Bert
