mouz, ALTERNATE pull out of NorthCon

The NorthCon organisers have revealed that mousesports and ALTERNATE have both decided against attending the event.

The news leaves the organisers behind NorthCon in a race against time to find the last two participants for the CS:GO tournament, which will kick off on Friday.

Both ALTERNATE and mousesports attended the German EPS finals last weekend, with the Christian "Rak" Hermenau-Puhlvers' side coming out on top to secure the first prize of €7,500.

Earlier in the week, mouz swapped two players, seeing Finn "karrigan" Andersen and Michele "zonixx" Köhler replace Dimitrios "stavros" Smoilis and Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff.

All teams interested in taking part in NorthCon, whose CS:GO tournament will feature a €9,000 prize purse, can do so by emailing the organisers at [email protected].

The participants' list for NorthCon currently looks as follows:
