New CSP Phoenix model revealed

The CSPromod development team has unveiled their work on the Terrorists' Phoenix model.

With the beta 1.1 version scheduled for release this Sunday, the CSPromod team is showcasing some of the fresh content that the update will bestow upon the community.

Yesterday, the team revealed their improved British S.A.S. player model, and the new look received a lot of praise by the community. Today came the Terrorists' new Phoenix model.

Inspired by the Irish Republican Army (IRA), the developers have decided to go with a different approach and not mimick too much of the CS 1.6 look, hoping to create an own identity for the models.

Moreover, the new Phoenix model also fires the AK-47 from its hip. Next up to be placed in CSPromod's showcase is the defuse kit and the bomb bag, which will be revealed tomorrow.

I know, all I'm saying is that you guys should let your work speak for itself. You don't need to make the ambiguous "This is what we've been doing for the past year, what's up now haters" comments. I'm just saying this because you're not in a position to flatter yourself after being missing in action for months (like always), quite the opposite. All of those comments can easily backlash on you guys. You shouldn't care about those comments because those people will never play your game, no matter what. Therefore there's no reason to attack the "dark side" of the CS community. More effort should be put in building a good communication with the community throughout the development, than spending those characters in "attacking" a portion of a community that doesn't cares about you.

Actually I'll play whatever cs is at the top of the scene playerwise/tournaments/competitive players wise, I'd just rather that be csgo rather than csp since I think csp has a really low skill cap(due to the recoil being easy as fuck) and it's just basically a game we have been playing for 12 years and in reality has no future outside hltv because it has no attraction what so ever when u compare it against 1.6(which was a dying game esports wise anyway) apart from being free.

Actually the graphical enhancements are a huge point of attraction for 1.6 players; and the gameplay enhancements are a huge point of attraction for competitive minded css/cs:go players. i completely disagree with you; i've played CS:go extensively since beta and it doesn't have the competitive depth (skill cap) needed to be as successful as 1.6 was. CS:promod, however, does possess those qualities. A MUCH higher skill cap than CS:go. It is the future.

in case you haven't been following cs for the last decade, yes, csp is dead. it hasn't been an active project for a long time and people keep trying to resurrect it every year by putting out a new half ass update. they should drop the p in csp and add an f for fairy tale because that's all this fictitious pile of shit is. a new cs came out this summer called cs:go and all the tournaments and organizations have picked it up and will be the leading version of cs in 2013. I think the developers of csp are lacking a prefrontal cortex and should stick to developing a helmet for them and their friends to protect what's left of their fragile brain.

Afaik the CSS textures are just placeholders. They are working on custom textures. Also these new models got custom textures. And people disliked CSS because of the gameplay mechanics, not the textures.

CSP programmers aren't able to replicate 1.6 movement. NumB is a coder, who was working with CSP, but they didn't listen to his advice, so he left and helped making KZMod instead.

Yeah, sorry he is not some 2012 Gangster out of the bronx. People actually wear tight jeans ... not to mention sloppy clothes aren't practical while fighting. Next time think before talking. CAN help.....
