ESEA changes map rotation

Despite complaints from the community, ESEA has decided to stick with the original map rotation for it's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive divisions worldwide.

After announcing the map rotation for season thirteen with de_aztec_se, de_dust_se and de_mill_b1 included, much of the community voiced their unhappiness with the introduction of non-standard maps to competitive play.

ESEA had already announced changes to the map rotation during the holiday season, but has now decided to revert back to the original rotation, which means de_dust_se will be in action next week.

In a community vote on ESEA, de_mill_b2 defeated de_mill_b1 to replace it while Sal "Volcano" Garozzo's de_cache took the place of de_aztec_se. Finally, ESEA will use de_nuke_se from now on, as it is now virtually the same as Garozzo's version.

Week 3	January 13-17	de_mill_b2
Week 4	January 20-24	de_train_se
Week 5	January 27-31	de_nuke_se
Week 6	February 3-7	de_inferno_se
Week 7	February 10-14	de_cache
Week 8	February 17-21	de_dust2_se

First week already finished prior to the holidays, and action will continue in ESEA Invite starting on Monday with Virtus.pro taking on mousesports, who recently added Finn "karrigan" Andersen to their roster.

The site's security certificate is not trusted! dust is only there because there are no maps available to replace it. The only map i can think of that's possible is vertigo. And nobody likes vertigo.

Sounds good. I like the idea of forcing new maps into matches. It means that much maps that aren't played regularly are given actual coverage and we get to see if they are actually bad or just little played. Although thank god they got rid of Aztec, that map is the second worst offical map.

dust1? cache? even mill_b2 is bad, mill_b1 was better Are the Americans drunk? Just because volcano makes a map doesn't mean you instantly have to play it LOL. Map rotation in future for CS:GO should be simple: dust2, mirage, inferno, train, nuke, tuscan Leaves room for potential new maps or old remakes, but remains familiar and professional.

This is a huge fuckup by esea. You don't change the mappool in a tournament after it started. The only thing you could do worse from that point on IS TO CHANGE IT AGAIN. You had one job.

Everyone Europe side is on a level playing field and if teams knew of dust before hand then surely they would have got some basic strats for it. Anyway it's good to see other maps are being placed in the rotation aside from the norm, it could potentially mean some interesting matches.

Dust is stupid. Mill needs work, the B site is broken. Kinda interested to see Cache. Only downside potentially is i think it will play out similar to forge, run and gun. I guess the Russians will like it.

Because dust is an absolutely trashy map? If we have dust why take out aztec? They're both atrociously balanced. Play it in pugs all you want, but in a competitive league, this has no place. I'm all for absolutely brand new maps in competitive play GIVEN THAT THEY'RE MADE PROPERLY for competitive play.

we'll see what happens, they are pro teams after all + there are some new additions for the Ts which help alot.If it goes downhill from that tournament they can simply not put it in anymore.Let's be more open-minded and wait it out

I realize all the changes they have in dust for CSGO. I've pugged in dust on 1.6 and source quite a few times. It's definitely better for T's, but the difference makes a very small impact. It's still very easy for CTs to win an overwhelming amount of rounds.
