eXtensive! lose CS:GO team
eXtensive! have announced on their website that their CS:GO squad has departed the organisation.
In a statement issued by Michaël "Leakim" Diefenbronn, the eXtensive! chief explains that the CS:GO team was tempted by a better offer from another multi-gaming organisation, whose name he did not wish to reveal.
Diefenbronn also stressed that eXtensive! will not sign another team, citing the hefty expenses and the lack of stability as the main reasons for this decision.
"Our partners no longer want to support players who are this volatile," he said.
"The amount of money that we have to spend [at least €25,000 per season] so that the players can be at their best never pays off."
The French team had been in the ranks of eXtensive! since October, when they joined the organisation after playing under the name PRIME.
The move somewhat comes as a surprise as they remain on the lookout for a new fifth player, having lost Michel "mshz" Nguyen to Imaginary Gaming two weeks ago.
eXtensive! had the following CS:GO squad:
Vincent "Happy" Cervoni
Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez
Dan "apEX" Madesclaire
Robin "GMX" Stahmer
