MODDII joining mTw? - Report

After not fielding a full lineup for over two months, it looks as if Andreas "MODDII" Fridh and Lasse "stingeR" Midstue would be on their way to joining mTw.

mTw's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team has gone through a variety of roster changes in their short history, until finally deciding to drop out of EPS Germany at the end of October.

The team has seen the likes of Johan "face" Klasson, Aaron "AaroN" Hemmings, Anil "cLy" Gülec and Alexander "rdl" Redl go through the revolving doors of their team, which is yet to attend an actual tournament.

stingeR could be on his way to mTw with MODDII

It is currently unknown if the changes will take place as mTw is yet to issue a press release, but their ESEA Open team's roster has seen both Fridh and Midstue join and pay the league fees, suggesting it's at least a possibility.

With Andreas "MODDII" Fridh's poor attitude rumoured to be why fnatic imploded, it will be interesting to see if mTw, who is known for frequent roster changes, is a good fit for the Swede.

Midstue was a stand-in for mousesports UK at DreamHack Winter where his team managed to play two close maps against Ninjas in Pyjamas en route to a 3-4th place finish.

Lasse "stingeR" Midstue

The team defeated CRG 16-11 on de_mirage_csgo yesterday and will go up against Memento Mori Gaming tomorrow at 21:30 on de_dust_se in ESEA Open season 13.

Certainly not expected to be on long term? I expect a swift upgrade in performance of friis and trace in csgo 2 or 3 events and they will be world class again

how is "MODDII joining mTw?" a statement that it will be like that? ? are only used in question wich means they dont know the real answer but its nice to know what might happen in the scene. cant understand why they shouldnt make a news about it when it could actually be for real.

They add -report to the article for a reason. Its simply a hot topic and arguably newsworthy

those multi-national teams always seem a bit fishy to me.. i don't think there would be problems in terms of unterstanding but it's harder to create a real team spirit and to keep up the motivation when you don't speak your native language. anyway if they get along well among each other this should be a really great team (if it's true after all).

when the EPS Germany teams were announced, i was surprised that there weren't mTw in there, since i thought mTw's priority was EPS Germany (you need 3 players to live in Germany in order to participate there). Now it looks like they're going complete international lineup. *Also would be fun to see ScreaM under this tag.

they could've played EPS if they wanted since hudzG and steel are living in germany too i think. not sure about their account tho since they dropped out last season but there's still the possibility that mTw is buying another account for this team before the next season is starting.

i don't think hudzG lives in DE, because before, mTw used were using 3 players (besides hudzG) who lives in Germany (Nooky, steel, cLy, hossa, osirisbash...)

if you haven't noticed, HLTV has calmed down quite a bit now that GO is really settling in. the worst of the 1.6'ers have left and the rest have accepted change. But that's an idealistic assessment of the situation

Stinger was a stand in for mouz? He was part of the team. Not sure where you get this information from as in the DHW interview with Rattlesnk he gave reasoning on why he picked up the two Norwegians and never once said Stinger was only a stand-in.
