3DMAX lets go of CS:GO team

Following a disappointing loss in the ESL Major Series Winter semi-final against Imaginary Gaming, 3DMAX has decided to let go of their CS:GO squad.

3DMAX failed to impress at both events they attended this past fall, as they were knocked out in the group stage at DreamHack Winter 2012, followed up by another poor showing, a 7-8th place at NorthCon.

The team first lost Dennis "vnG" Vang just days prior to NorthCon, which was followed up by Tomax "xlo" Falden retiring during the holidays, leaving them with just three members.

xlo is taking a role in flux' management

The Danes picked up Malte "Herden" Boelt Hansen from Copenhagen Wolves, and filled up their starting five with Kristian "tabaco" Simonsen, who hasn't been a part of a team prior to 3DMAX.

Following disappointing results, the team has been let go. However, they intend to stick together with the same roster they fielded in the Imaginary match, with Falden stepping in as their manager.

flux:

Denmark Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
Denmark Kristoffer "gravityy" Søholm
Denmark Malte "Herden" Boelt
Denmark Søren "falkizh
" Falke
Denmark Kristian "tabaco" Simonsen

Next flux plans on attending HKLAN, which will take place in the city of Aabenraa, near the German border, and offer over 5,300€ in prizes, as well as host the Gaming.dk League finals.

Please stop comparing the 1.5 > 1.6 switch to the 1.6 > CSGO switch. It has absolutely nothing in common. The 1.6 update was so small compared to the CSGO update. The graphics stayed the same (except the change of a few models). Recoil felt the same. Movement felt the same. CSGO is completely new and has nothing in common with 1.6 except the name. You can compare the 1.6 update with the CSP 1.11 update. The only few things they changed were the models and some basic bugfixes, but they still kept the recoil, movement, etc from the 1.10 version. 1.10 < 1.5 - 1.11 < 1.6.

Well, this particularly thing has nothing to do with the danish scene being unstable. - The team is staying together.

If you're denying its unstable face, you're a moron to be honest :-D The Danish scene is really unstable, but yeah in this case it has been a bit mixed, I guess(?).

wtf? The danish scene is one of the strongest in the game. We have so many good teams in our scene, and ofcourse there will always be swaps after a season of events. Same in every other country, so no , denmark doesnt have a much more unstable scene than anyone else. We actually had mTw who stuck together for 2+ years with the same lineup (whiMp MJE ave zonic Sunde) aswell as MANY other danish topteams in the past which im sure you know nothing about . :)

I do know that. I am not entirely sure why you're thinking that I know nothing about CS: GO, that's just odd. The Danish Counter Strike-scene has been very unstable both in 1.6 and Source, were we've seen a lot of updates (Yes, you've taken the example of the former mTw-team which consisted of zonic, ave and Sunde for years - but a few line-up changes isn't enough) I am not trying to hit every team but, as a person who follows the scene really well (Well, it's my job) I do know (... you hopefully do too...) that the current state of the CS: GO-scene is that it's really unstable. Line-up changes every now and then (Copenhagen Wolves, 3DMAX!, logiX, EOU, fnatic and I could keep on) Don't try to convince me nor yourself into the fate of its being stable as it is. That would just be ignorant. Thus the scene being unstable and unreliable it is one of the, if not THE, strongest(/er) scenes in the world - on that one I'd have to agree with you.

I would say in general, the scene is unstable - you cant mark it down to denmark not being a stable cs:go scene :D

The danish scene is and has always been so fucking stupid, the only exception being mTw. And no, I don't mean the players, I mean how all the teams are handled.
