NiP over VG after a 14-0 comeback

NiP has defeated VeryGames 16-13 after a 14-0 comeback in the second half on de_nuke_se in Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's VeryGames debut against the Swedes.

Hometeam VeryGames started as counter-terrorists on de_nuke_se against rivals Ninjas in Pyjamas and quickly won the pistol round as Nathan "NBK" Schmitt scored a pair of early kills.

Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg managed to get two kills on their first save round, followed up by a ramp split with Richard "Xizt" Landström's P250 entry frag proving essential to NiP winning their second save round.

The Swedes tied the game at two a piece as it was VeryGames' turn to save, but little did they know the Frenchmen would put up a wall of defense the world's best team wouldn't be able to crack for the rest of the half.

VeryGames went onto win the next seven rounds basically uncontested as NiP were not able to score any entry frags or even come close to winning as VG's teamplay seemed to overpower NiP's skill.

NiP captain Xizt played a key part in ruining ScreaM's first NiP match in VG 

Trailing 2-9, an important frag by Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson turned a three-on-four into a two-on-two with NiP getting a bomb plant, but Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux and Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans prevailed, making it 10-2 for VG.

Round thirteen saw NiP attack the upper bombsite and get into a four-on-three situation, but Schmitt's two quick M4A4 kills allowed VG to win another round. His personal score was 18/6 with no one on NiP yet at eight frags.

Final two rounds made little difference as NiP were simply shut down all over the map. Kenny "kennyS" Schrub scored two AWP kills to open up the final round. Schmitt ended up at 21 kills with Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom second at fifteen.

NiP's ramp defense gave them an advantage early in the second half pistol until Benrlitom scored three glock frags. He then fell right into the arms of  Adam "friberg" Friberg, who then won a one-on-one with a well placed HE grenade.

With the momentum now on NiP's side, the next four rounds were easy wins as the teams switched roles, NiP now up 5-0. Sixth round saw Benrlitom and Schrub bring a round down to a two-on-two but Johansson was able to take out the bomb planter and VG ran out of time.

Ex6TenZ will have to go back to the drawing board with VG's terrorist play 

Lindberg's three M4A4 kills secured NiP a win on VG's save round, followed up by a team effort by Alesund and Landström who shot down the Frenchmen's upper rush in round eight to make it 10-13.

Round ten was an easy win for NiP and they closed out another three-on-two in round ten to go up 10-0. Alesund's two kills stopped VeryGames next as NiP tied the game at thirteen, followed up by three kills by him the very next round to give NiP their first lead.

With VeryGames now trailing for the first time, Benrlitom scored two entry frags with his AK47 at ramp but an amazing four kill round by Richard "Xizt" Landström in the upper bombsite gave NiP match point at 15-13.

The Swedes only needed one try, as despite Schmitt scoring his first kills of the half after a 0/14 start, NiP made it 14-0 for a 16-13 win overall. At the end Benrlitom's score was 12/13 while rest of VeryGames combined for a measly 13/56.

NiP now boast a record of 10-0 in ESEA Invite and are heavy favorites to finish with the first seed while VeryGames suffer their second loss after falling short against n!faculty in overtime on de_train_se last week.
