Having been involved with the Counter Strike community for over 11 years, 27 year old Nathaneal is a well known face and voice to many people in South African eSports. It was in 2002 that he took his first steps into the world of gaming, playing games such as Counter Strike, Quake and other older titles. Counter Strike was the game that really grabbed him over the years and he played professionally for some time until he retired in 2013 when he played his last match as a member of the South African Premier League Team nAv.Knights. This decision wasn’t an easy one to make, but after having taken on the challenge of shoutcasting, Nathaneal decided that he could add more benefit to the community by means of casting and exposing the local talent to the rest of the world. One day he hopes to become one of the most known CS:GO casters, both internationally and locally, and he would like to be able to provide top quality eSports coverage for the urban and rural communities alike, exposing more people to the eSports scene and raising the interest level.
