I truly doubt that is the case. Valve usually tend to be very hands off unless they have to adress anything. Been that way for the longest time. Edit: just removed some unnecesary words

I also find that very odd but we can not know this kind of stuff (as my dad or uncle does not work for valve or blast lol) so I prefer not to speculate all too much about it.
