BLAST.tv Austin Major stickers and viewer pass released

The stickers for the 32 teams bound for the Austin Major have been unveiled.

Valve has announced the release of the items for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major, including stickers for players and teams as well as the Viewer Pass for the regular Pick'Em Challenge.

The announcement comes not long after BLAST officially confirmed that Argentine side BESTIA would be replaced at the Major due to issues getting their visas before the appropriate deadline. BESTIA have since been replaced by South America MRQ runners-up Legacy.

In addition to the Major-related items, Valve also announced the release of four more sticker capsules, based on the Warhammer 40,000 series.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major is set to begin with Stage 1 on June 3, ultimately concluding with the grand final on June 22.

Not a big fan of them at all honestly. Most of the ones we had in the past looks way better to be real. #95 for extra context. Also sad to see so many people actually cheering for Bestias downfall... (like this guy for example #2) So many people seem to lack a lot of empathy, might just be a very loud miserable minority tho.

I really liked the stickers with the Wild West theme—cowboy rodeo style with a touch of Texas, Las Vegas, and Austin. Valve made a great choice! The Foil stickers resemble the belt buckles worn by bull-riding cowboys, which is a nice touch. However, I wasn’t a fan of the borders on the Holographic stickers; they should have just featured the team logo or player signatures without the extra outline. I'll need to test if scratching the sticker removes the border without damaging the design. The fire animation and shine on the holographic stickers are absolutely stunning! I’d liked from the community which stickers do you think will appreciate the most, both for team logos and individual players? Will Chinese teams, like Tyloo, be hyped, or will their prices stay at normal levels?

They got denied because they incorrectly applied for their VISA's. It's not that hard to understand. ''BLAST add that "this decision has been validated by Valve," and further state that "BESTIA’s current legal representative has since confirmed that the team began the visa process incorrectly and without proper legal support prior to their involvement." So it's their fault. No other team made a mistake while applying for their VISA's. They are all going to be at the Major.

Seems to me like most older fans do not like these stickers while a lot of people on here with new hltv accounts seem to really like them.
