There is no rule against defusing through objects. The only rule is that you are not allowed to defuse without the defuse sound.

It isn't directly expressed in the rules but... 4.3. Illegal Actions Any actions that result in an unfair advantage are illegal. And in the past we've seen teams getting penalty points due exploiting this bug (in ESL).

Seriously can you guys stop making up things? In ESL Events there was never a team punished for defusing through objects. nfaculty even defused 2 times in the german eps, once druing the season and on the finals, through the floor on de_nuke and they weren´t punished.
