Take yesterday for example, someone popped up in chat asking me who's currently playing for Infused. My reply was that I have been told 'a' line up by two people & certain players by another who is definitely a part of the side but can't say anything in case it's incorrect or things have changed as I don't want to spread false information & the team themselves might not want the line up to be revealed as things may not be finalised (I knew nothing was finalised in infused because two of them told me when we were having a chat) & it would be disrespectful to spread falsities. This is one of the reasons I didn't specify any players today and I've said it a gazillion times. I've never revealed any line ups in the past and never will. I'll happily admit and say I have an idea if I have been told something, but I'd never and never have revealed anything to anyone because like you said, it is none of my business. If I wanted to I could've linked their ESL page but didn't want to as I was wary some players might get swapped last minute and didn't want to make people think certain players will be playing who won't be. So I appreciate what you're saying and we're on the same page here dude, but I don't think saying I know something as as catastrophic/does any harm as actually spreading false information. I treated the French mixup the same. People kept asking me if I knew anything – which I did – some of which was told to me from some of the players directly other stuff told to me by other people – but my reply would always be that all will be revealed soon. Plus I knew only some sides of the story even though nothing I was told contradicted each other from different people at the end of the day it was none of my business, I agree. Hence why I'm not saying anything. All I meant by “I'm not going to reveal specifics, they will come out eventually” was that I roughly knew who would most likely be playing but that mixers might jump in, which I've said about a gazillion times now. So I think you need to stop reading in to things too much... plus what makes you think I didn't word certain things purposely to try & skew the odds? But I think it's up to me to decide which individuals I trust and in this case the player in discussion is a good friend of mine and someone I trust. But even in the scenario where I was told lies – which I wasn't – I didn't & wouldn't say any names. I only said I knew some specifics, by which I meant the most likely candidates to fill the last 3 spots – so I didn't provide false information or stick my nose in anywhere it doesn't belong.
