What you expect to happen is not what will always happen. It's irrelevant if you feel that you're much better than the other team or not, you never know how a match or a map will work out. Let's say that you lose the first map on purpose because you know you'll win the other two. In the end the other team finds great rhythm in one of the other two maps, wins a couple of lucky rounds which pumps their moral and the pressure you suddenly have on your team makes you make more and more mistakes and you lose. Quick, simple, happened many times in upsets.
The ideal scenario for a pro team is not to make some cheap money on the side while winning against a lesser team. The ideal scenario for a pro team is to destroy everyone 2-0 16-0 16-0 and win the championship without any trouble. Especially when you're without an org and you want to find the best possible contract from all the potential organizations. You want to prove everyone that you're worthy of investment, not that you struggle against an underdog.
There are very few scenarios where it's interesting for a pro team to throw anything in our current scene, and none of those scenarios are interesting on the long term, especially now that Valve officially said that fix bans are permanent. My point wasn't only that it's unlikely that Kappa threw the first map, my point was also that it's unlikely that all these throw accusations we see almost every match are even close to being true. Of course it's possible that it happens, just as volcanoes do sometimes erupt. But it's unlikely, and unless serious evidence is brought forward, these accusations should be ignored and dismissed.

cobble train and inferno they have proven they are good on, and they used to be good at dust2. if they can work a core on those 3 maps and get some proficiency at dust and perhaps mirage, titan will already be a good team

FOURTIMESthe more specific, the better though right? because if he's the best at doing that one little thing (although I'd say GuardiaN is the best as picking double doors) then they have the potential to beat every team on it if shox and SmithZz are good on it, and since no top team is particularly good at it, it might want to be a map they practice more on.

idk. before cluj they were good on dust online. in fact that titan was very good and very confident, they came back 4-14 to beat nip on dust for example. i just remember them having very competitive matches. then at cluj when they got humiliated, they've just been so bad on it ever since.
it should be a good map from them, no reason to go from being good to being shit on a map within a month. i really think titans hugest issue, even more than their teamwork issues (losing to ecoes, losing to man up situations, losing 2nd round after pistol win) is lack of confidence
so yeah hope they practice more on it and we see some old titan again :)
