Well I get why the off days are there, and I know that in 2017 we're actually pretty lucky since we have got many top events compared to the starting years of csgo, it's just a bit sad when there is a top tier event with 1 off day because you have that 1 day where you can't watch some top tier cs, sry for bad englando but I hope that you understand my pov

Indeed. I still like Olof. Can't blame him for leaving Fnatic when he did. Nothing looked good at that time and he gave them several chances before giving up. He isn't what he used to be, though, as he's mostly the forth best player in FaZe, but when he's having a good game they seem to win everything. Not going to win against Fnatic either way.

0-0 This fnatic team have severely over-performed at this event, the Liquid game was pure luck and they would have lost with a scoreline around 16-8 if LIquid wasn't using their coach, they were fairly lucky that FaZe didn't come in hot in the first game, which FaZe still managed to pull into overtime. Just look at the results from fnatic in the WESG qualifiers, they were using a stand-in who was either first or second in ADR/Rating every game, this run also included losses to teams such as AGO, Space Soldiers, a Ukrainian mix and some random as fuck tier 4 french team. Regression to the mean is all i can see from this team that being that they're horrendous on LAN and have choked over and over when games matter. OpTIc on the other hand have shown promising results, their t sides are structured and friberg seems to be adapting into an IGL role quiet well. My suggested bet for this game is: OpTIc +1.5 @ 1.55

Yeah I looked around a bit and there's a range from like 1.4 to almost 1.7 for Fnatic. On the other hand, the odds on a win for OpTic goes from 2.2 to 2.5, which is a little bit high in my opinion :) Let's just hope we get to see three maps and some really good plays!

I mean mixwell had no armor and picked up the ump, got a kill and got traded. But why even go there in the first place? You can just play a bait crossfire just outside of the church / construction, where mixwell is bait peeking and hs hides in the corner, baiting the ct:s to push and HS gets at least 1 frag and probably stays alive. Magisk probably felt pressured, but he has to just stay alive at that point.

I think that's just how Flusha likes to play Inferno, he has done similar all tournament and even when he played arch side he was also quite passive and more rotate focused. OpTic have been on seizing his passivity . Even a midround banana pop would have worked wonders for them.

Get fucking rekt Optic, sit down and shut up. That's so embarrassing, holy fucking shit. Why not just go for A FUCKING EXECUTE ON EITHER A OR B? Stop trying to overthink stuff just because it's the last round. And why is mixwell ALONE in slope / A ramp, with an awp? He needs some backup, even if he traded 1 for 1 that would be shit as fuck. Bottom line is that friberg called the A execute FAR to late in this t half, if he did itat either 9-8 or 9-10 and wins one of those, they win the map. But really, in the last round, why not just go as a team and make a simple A split or B split happen? What's so difficult about that? And if you're going to stand holding pushes, at least bring a mate there so you don't lose the round to a simple SMG push. If for example mixwell had a rifler with him in a ramp, they trade 2 for 0 nine out of ten times, and 2 for 1 at worst. Such a disappointment. Edit: And please hit the correct smokes in the pistolrounds, or at least consider people abusing the mistakes you just made. Edit 2: Well played to fnatic though, glad they finally managed to show up, but golden HAS TO improve his fragging, it's too weak at the moment, which hurt them a lot on inferno and somewhat on mirage.

Sure, but I don't understand why Friberg didn't call the A execute in one of the first 2 gunrounds. It's basically something you can count on getting equal trades and the bomb down, and they were shooting harder than fnatic that game, so I don't think they would be afraid to face off in the afterplant. And it worked well, he just called it far too late.

Because in the first rifle they didn't have the nades for it (fnatic had full nades), and in the second they'd rather work off a default/middle control (establish their base for the half, considering fnatic also had fullnades + AWPs) and letting mixwell go for picks. Not every team is C9 or North where they just pull out random executes, hope they work, and change the pace based of that. Edit: Could OpTic have run contact up A-ramp first rifle, maybe. No idea what their preparation was for fnatic.

They had enough nades to make a smoke wall, I'm quite sure of that. Sure maybe lacking a few mollies and such, hence why I thought he'd call it in the second gunround. I simply don't think it's a ''random execute'', it's a safe execute, bomb plant is almost guaranteed, and a decent shot at the afterplant. Personal preference I suppose, maybe that's why I love watching both C9 and North on mirage.

They probably could've done an A-hit in the first rifle, but went for something set onto B (with HS lurking connector and friberg walking up cat hoping the B-hit takes flusha's attention). That's up to the preparation of imapet and friberg.
