You say that but 1. C9 deserve some type of advantage from coming from the upper bracket. If C9 loses then theyre the only team who didnt get a second life so in a way this advantage is smaller than it should be. 2. How do you even know it would be a good final based on the odds and recent results C9 should crush liquid. Youre telling me if c9 come out and handle liquid in 2 maps and 3-0 them that the only reason it wasnt a competitive final is because it didnt have another map?!

Honestly, Liquid being up 2-0 before cache happened was important as fuck for them. Cache was ALWAYS going to be rough against C9, and C9 had everything going for them in the beginning of the game too. Now, can they win 1 out the 2 remaining maps? I think so, they've played very well thus far.

I agree, at this point you can't drag previous results into the discussion regarding this particular bo5. Liquid is surfing the wave right now, and I feel like cache is just a bonus map for them, because they knew the whole time that C9 would pick overpass. Liquid probably told themselves that they were bad on cobble, and also C9 have had the opportunity to watch them on cobble already this event. Cache was a gamble that didn't work out, and Liquid hopefully won't put too much thought into the "stomp" (idk the map is still live)

Exactly what I'm saying, previous results AKA chain logic doesn't work in a matchup / final like this. Sure I disagree with playing cache instead of cobble, but still, it's a gamble and I respect it. If they didn't get eco:ed at the start of this cache map, they probably win 8 or more t rounds and with ct pistol it's their game to win. I think they can win overpass, for sure, they're confident as hell, just look at this ct side even after being down 13-2.

Yeah but they've already played cobble two (?) times at summit, and they had really bad T sides both times. By picking cache, they could only surprise, right? And I totally agree that we would've seen a close half had it not been for Stewie's deagle. That probably tilted them. I believe they can win overpass as well. Great map for aggressive (and unpredictable) plays.

Completely agree! I hope Naf goes absolutely nuts on Overpass as he did versus Nip, and sure C9 has had some decent results on Overpass, but it's really only their ct side that is proven to be good versus top tier opposition. We haven't seen enough t side to know what to expect in terms of scoreline from them on that map. Excited for this last map, and I'm hoping Liquid takes this!
