I really feel like overaged teams are an issue for the Iberian scene. Three players on this saw roster are 27 or older, the other two barely younger than 25. There seem to be very little upcoming talents either, more a constant reshuffle of already existing rosters.

The Iberian Scene has a lot of bad habits: Toxicity, lack of focus on the game (due to conservative parents), 5 man stacks on Faceit level 10 (which are a problem, because most Portuguese only play Faceit on 5 stacks, which it makes easier to reach level 10 and then there´s the obvious stagnation of the level 10 that can´t make the next step), reshuffles everywhere and the friendships between players. Oh, and washed up players ( yes fox, i´m looking at you ).

You cant expect people to drop their education to gamble on an esports career, specially on a country like Portugal where the minimum wage is around 600€ and the social infrastructure isn't as strong as in other countries. Thats why most, if not all, of the stablished players are above 23 24 years old. They get their education first and then go the esports route.

Usually the problem about the age is related with the motivation from the players that already reached a lot in CS and can't find the same motivation and will to become better (Taz, NEO, Get Right, etc are some examples). The thing is, none of these players (rmn, mut, arki) have achieved a lot internationally, they are trying it now and being succeeded so why not? I mean the motivation for them is great because they have never been as good as now. I think you can get what I mean. I still understand your point and indeed we dont have a lot of good young players showing in top50 teams or so, the best we have under 20 are NopeeJ and pr from Giants and some other players from lower tier portuguese teams such as kst, sark (21y), rafaxf..
