who in C9 has any lack of firepower? Alex is a pretty decent fragging igl. Floppy was by far the best player in old C9 and its not like they were playing t2 NA teams. That team was playing the big 3 in NA. Mezii, if youre saying mezii youve just never watch the guy play once. Theres a reason 3-4 teams were bidding for him when C9 got him. Woxic doesnt need an explanation, when hes on he is a top awper. I think on Overpass we saw more of their level. VP isn't a crap team, possibly top ten. A few things were clear: Alex is probably a good IGL, they did a good job getting him. Mezii is probably also very good, he played well. Woxic is not good enough to be the star awper on a 'juggernaut' style team, there are probably ten better awpers around than him: Jane Simple Device Poizon Broky Kenny Probably even ChrisJ Maybe even Smooya Can't think of three more, but they need a top ten awper, no idea who to get. Esetag is not the player they thought. He isn't a world class player and isn't a super star like a Niko, or even in VP a Yekindar. He's a solid solid support player but that's not what 1.2 million dollars get you. Floppy is fucking horrible. Get rid of the guy and replace him with someone better.

I would say it's OK for the debut of a team built from scratch. Now we know that C9 at least has one map where they can challenge a top15 team. The only problem being that VP only played 7 overpasses in the last 3 months including this game, although winning 5 of them, so it's not their go to map by any means, that would be dust(19 played, 15 won) or inferno(17 played, 13 won)
