Maybe if this is LAN. Ez for online cheaters! More of their movements I watch seems like they ALWAYS get perfect timing on angles and flanks. Can’t catch them off guard. i dont understand the map vetos everyone has commented here. Gambit are clearly struggling on Dust 2 which is lately Astralis` best map and Gambit`s T side on Train (most CT sided map) is flawless while Astralis blew a lead against VP on it. These will be their first picks and imo, the decider is pretty out in the air. If its Vertigo or Overpass , Gambit got this else Astralis with a better chance on Inferno.

Tbh if Astralis doesn't go full retard mode and lose that 5v2 at 11-8, it's 12-8, 0 money on gambit (likely 13-8) and 10k plus on every astralis player. So we could've seen a 16-9 / 16-10 ish scoreline if not for that one, but of course that's just a "what if" perspective. Still shows how one round can turn the game around.

And from there Gambit could have turned up and won every single following round, unlikely but I'm just playing devil's advocate to your "what if" situation. Not to mention if Astralis win then Vertigo would have been a whole other story. I think we can agree Astralis we're not themselves and getting greedy like that, giving a guy as good as sh1ro any opportunity back in to what should be an unwinnable round is a massive mistake and very unlike them. But Regardless Ax1le still went bananas and Gambit adds another impressive result to the books. Hopefully we get a finals rematch and it goes 3 maps.

Yupp that 5v2 threw the game, had a feeling it would happen and it did. Follow that up with losing a 5v4, 4v2 and the game is over. Xyp9x and glaive are to blame for the most part on this ct side, xyp especially. But that 5v2 round would've locked up the game, instead they get frag hungry and lose. Gambit deserved this however, Astralis couldn't compete except for a few moments on inferno.
