Opinion:
Without knowing the source of the data, I will assume the results doesn't take opponent and current form into consideration.
Based on current form and opponent, the road to reach the Semi-finals for The MongolZ, seems to have been the easiest (beside Vitality) among the last 4 teams.
Same is to say for paiN, having an "easier" road than MOUZ. At least in my opinion and statistics - why it comes to no surprise that these are the rankings:
1: Vitality
2: The MongolZ
3: paiN
4: MOUZ
However, I'm pretty sure MOUZ would win against either paiN or The MongolZ, if not both of them, majority of the time. Why this might contaminate the data and/or understanding, depending on the use-case of the data :)

ropz joining gave the team that boost in confidence and work ethics, apEX said it himself in an interview. ropz would stay up late to learn lineups and grind.
ropz also doesn't drop off like Spinx in playoffs or high stakes games while taking a lot less space, he's anchor in like 5(?) maps for Vitality, meaning their less-supported teammates (ESPECIALLY mezii) gets more freedom.
tldr: new Vitality don't choke playoffs, lesser players play better now due to more space
