Lemondogs out after third defeat

Lemondogs have been sent packing right in the first stage of the tournament after losing their third group match, against 3DMAX.

The Swedish team had lost their first two group matches, against e-Sports.rs and LDLC.com, and required a victory against 3DMAX in order to go through to the tournament's second group stage.

de_nuke_ve had been the official map of Group D, with only one match not having been played on this map, and once again it was picked to stage this game, between two sides who had failed to live up to expectations.

3DMAX got off on the Counter Terrorist side in the first half and were simply far too hot to handle, running out 13-2 victors as the teams switched sides. After the break, the Slovakian team took the pistol round and then the two that followed to comfortly secure a 16-2 victory.

In the other Group D match, LDLC.com eased past e-Sports.rs 16-2, also on de_nuke_ve, to secure the top spot in the group and a place in the playoffs, which will be played on Sunday.

look at their results ? vs 3DMAX 2-16 vs LDLC.com 13-16 vs e-Sports.rs 8-16 ok... dont care what game u show in online, good player must show his skill at LAN. well we see how they "good" at LAN. now for me Lemondogs is just onliners, nothing more

really? how did lemondogs play vs vg and nip at that time? how do teams play vs vg now? everyone saying about that 4th eswc place, which is great, but honestly teams are now much better

teams are a bit better, but it's not like the skill level sky rocketed in 2 months. they didn't come from a parallel universe in august and had gotten more time to get better in this game. they had the same amount of time in hand as anyone else to develop their team game and individual skills, and they proved themselves to be better than most other teams at lans. you have to agree that calling them onliners after one bad lan is quite stupid?

maybe they switched earlier than most other teams and the difference between 150h and 100h is 50% while between 600h and 700h is much less. i never called them onliners (yes its stupid), i think they can be good at future tournaments but they fell a little behind i guess (maybe a bad day or dunno)

When you have bad day you can't concentrate, therefore you are not able to perform well enough to get more then 5 rounds. There is no team that doesn't have a bad day/lan,wheter is it semi-pro or top team. You'll see that, this will happen to NiP too, sooner or later, and you'll say top3 yeyeyey.

how do you know this group is the easiest? you just cant tell that, you know nothing how serbians and ldlc prepared (even though theyre playing with stand-in, 4 players with great teamwork can do a lot)

This happened in 1.6 too. I was wondering if the community will actually change after the CS:GO release but i guess not. You were saying the same bullshit when there were 1.6 tournaments too. You guys haven't changed a bit. Always trying to insult teams from home when they fail to pass the group , while the team that failed was at that lan and gained some experience, and you gained shit by saying that bullshit.

There's not really any discrepancies in Lemondogs results pre and post interp bugfix. Yeah, they bombed this tournament, it can happen to anyone. Except maybe NiP.
