Epsilon release Lox, xelos
Epsilon e-Sports have announced on their website that they have parted company with Tonoy "Lox" Prince and Jerry "xelos" Råberg.
The Swedish team have been a big hit in recent months and have already qualified for the EMS One group stage after winning the first online cup and finishing runners-up in the second one.
However, that has not stopped Epsilon from reshuffling their squad every now and then, as the team look to scale international heights in the future.
The Swedish team have now dispensed with the services of both Tonoy "Lox" Prince and Jerry "xelos" Råberg, citing internal problems between the duo and the remaining players as the reason behind this choice.
"We felt that that we lacked consistency and synergy with this team," Jesper "jw" Wecksell said. "Lox & xelos have both been instrumental in getting this team to where we are now, but we believe that to take that jump to the next level, that changes had to be made.
"Both Lox and xelos are great guys and we wish them the best of luck.
"We are currently trying out two new players who will help us improve our team play, make us more consistent and hopefully get us to that next level.
"You will definitely see us at Copenhagen Games with our new lineup."
Epsilon have qualified for the ESEA-Open playoffs after finishing in second position in the league, with 14 victories from 16 matches.
Following these changes, Epsilon currently have the following trio:
Jesper "jw" Wecksell
Robin "flusha" Rönnquist
Andreas "schneider" Lindberg
