cLy leaves TCM-Gaming

TCM-Gaming's CS:GO division has been reduced to a four-man roster following the departure of Anil "cLy" Gülec.

The German team were recently seen in action at the Mad Catz CS:GO Invitation in Vienna, where they broke into the top 8 despite a couple of scares along the way, such as as three-way tie with Nostalgie and Imaginary Gaming in the first group stage.

TCM's campaign in Austria ended up being cut short by Anexis, who would go on to beat VeryGames in the semi-finals before losing to Ninjas in Pyjamas in the tournament decider.

It was the first event of the German team, who were created in January after Dimitrios "stavros" Smoilis and Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff left mousesports, but that did little in the way of preventing Anil "cLy" Gülec from feeling disappointed with the team's campaign.

"After our disappointment at the Mad Catz Invitational in Vienna my team and I decided to part ways," he told cadred.org.

"While we managed to get top 8 it took a lot of luck and I wasn't satisfied at all. We had a restricted training stint and failed to get some much needed practice before the event.

"There were a number of in-game problems and with our practice schedule it would have been impossible to fix them so we decided to part ways.

"I wish Hendrik the best of luck in his exams and the whole team only the best for the future. I also would like to thank the management, who have released me out of my contract without any problems."

TCM-Gaming have not yet signed up for Copenhagen Games, so it seems that the team are focused on finding a new player and getting the right amount of practice before making another appearance on LAN.
