Four teams remain in RC EMS Cup #4

After three rounds of play in RaidCall EMS One Cup #4 the final qualifier is down to just ESC Gaming, VeryGames, LDLC.com and fnatic, all of whom have now qualified for the main round.

Multiple notable teams went out early on as NiP were taken out by ESC Gaming in the second round, VeryGames beat mousesports on the first round and Danish EYES ON U knocked out 3DMAX in the upper part of the bracket.

Among the lower part of the single elimination bracket Natus Vincere knocked out Anexis, still playing without Sam "RattlesnK" Gawn, but now qualified for the main round. German n!faculty also faced an early exit.

Quarter-finals saw ESC Gaming defeat ALTERNATE 16-7 on de_dust2_se while their semi-final opponent VeryGames wasted a no time whatsoever as they destroyed EYES ON U 16-1 on de_nuke_se.

fnatic won't have Friis' AWP tomorrow

Swedish Absolute Legends were knocked out by fnatic 16-9 on de_mirage_go, while LDLC.com ruined a legendary Na`Vi versus fnatic match-up by defeating the Ukrainians 16-4 on the same map.

Interestingly enough fnatic's AWPer Michael "Friis" Jørgensen won't be playing for the black and orange squad tomorrow, and they will use former Copenhagen Wolves member Nicolai "device" Reedtz.

With four teams remaining and all of them now having qualified for the main round, they will compete for $1,000 and points to gain a higher seeding for the main round:

19:00	ESC Gaming	vs. VeryGames	BO1
20:00	LDLC.com	vs. fnatic	BO1
21:00	Grand final		BO3

HLTV.org will naturally cover tomorrow's matches and we're currently working on getting full statistics from today's matches uploaded as well as getting various highlight clips made.

Unfortunately, Friis will be unable to play tomorrow's match due to family matters. We will be using Nicolai "device" Reedtz as a stand-in.

not necessarily (although i have no idea), it's friis' birthday today so he might just have some plans with his family that don't allow him to play (as they don't really need to win, they are qualified either way).
