Mad Catz Birmingham group draw

The group draw for Mad Catz Birmingham has been made, with the 10 participating teams having learned who they will face in the opening stage.

Despite the fact that all eyes are on Copenhagen Games, which will kick off on Thursday, Esports Heaven is working around the clock to have everything set up for its third CS:GO event, following tournaments in Prague and Vienna.

Mad Catz Birmingham will take a total of 10 teams from across Europe to the Gadget Show, a major technology and consumer expo, from April 5th to 7th, as they will compete for a piece of the £10,000 (approximately €11,500) prize purse.

After Western Wolves, fnatic and CRG joined the participants' list on Monday, it has now been confirmed that the new Infused squad will be the last team on show in Birmingham.

VeryGames have been drawn in the same group as Anexis and k1ck, while Group B looks like a tough one to call, with Danish duo Western Wolves and fnatic having been thrown together with fm-eSports TOXiC, Dignitas and Reason Gaming.

The two group winners will automatically progress to the semi-finals, while the second and third-placed sides will be placed in the quarter-finals.

this is fnatics first lan together correct? will be interesting to see how they perform, ill be watching be great for the UK if anexis could win, cant see any UK teams progressing from group B but hope they prove me wrong, will be watching reason gaming they may cause an upset!
