Cph Games qualifier group draw

The groups for the Copenhagen Games have been drawn, with the 56 participating teams having been placed into 16 groups.

The Danish event, running until Saturday, is finally upon us, as some of the world's finest teams will be in attendance at Øksnehallen, an exhibition centre in the heart of Copenhagen, to compete for the highly-coveted title.

But while teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas, VeryGames and Anexis eSports have all secured entry into the main tournament, which will kick off on Friday, others will have to go through Thursday's qualifier.

That will be the case of teams like ESC Gaming, Quantic Gaming and Lemondogs, all of whom did not get an invite to the main tournament and will take part in the qualifier, which is scheduled to start at 14:00 .

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Round of 32, with the 16 winners automatically qualifying for the €33,000 tournament.

They shouldn't even qualify because they had an invite sent to CPH organizers who lost it or whatever. Third at ESWC, first at CPH games

Because US teams have to fly around the world just to attend a tournament? And how's winning CPL, WCG and ESWC is not reaching the same level?

Disregard those idiots. USA made more than enough of a impact in 1.5 and 1.6. Now it's time to step up at GO. Hope you deliver again to make it interesting.

They had rapha in quake. In 1.6 and 1.5 they had some teams that were top 5 before. Not in the last 5 years and not now in CS:GO

LOL, you have no clue what you're talking about. czm was a beast in quake and rtcw:et, placing top at both games in CPL and QuakeCon, Zero4 no need to explain, zero4 probably the best player of all quake3, socrates, etc etc, i could go on all night. do i even need to talk about counter-strike or dod or whatever? you never heard of 3d, col, check-six? edit: funny thing is i ended up including lakerman for whatever reason, the irony... :)))

CHECK-SiX? Really. In CS 1.6 they haven't done any damage at all. Might not even a top 10 team in the world when they were at their best.

His point is valid nonetheless, they've traveled across the Atlantic for this tournament and missed out on a direct invite because their application went missing (supposedly). Also the fact that they're a proven good team, would be sad indeed if they didn't make it to the main tournament.
