Epsilon over ESC, more out in LB

The third round of the lower bracket sent ESC Gaming packing after a nail-biting 30-round match. Xapso, Publiclir and plan-B also crashed out of the tournament in the same round.

One of the more spectacular matches of the third lower-bracket round was on de_train_se between ESC Gaming and Epsilon. ESC had a rocket start in the match as they went on to get a quick 6-0 lead as CTs until the Swedes made something happen.

Thanks to a 1v3 clutch play by Robin "flusha" Rönnquist, Epsilon won their first round in the match. An eco coming from ESC afterwards seemed like the Swedish side would win at least one more, although Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas strongly replied and went on to take the ace while on an eco.

Pasha's dominant CT play was not enough for the Poles

After a few-rounds scare from Epsilon, the Poles took the two remaining rounds to set the halftime score at 9-6. A won pistol round helped Wojtas' team to make the difference to six rounds until Epsilon bought guns and took care of four rounds straight.

The two teams exchanged a few rounds to make the score 13-10. A hardware problem ruined ESC's momentum and Epsilon took an advantage of that as they went on to win most of the remaining rounds to send ESC packing at 16-14.

In one of the three other matches of the third round in Lower Bracket, Temp.no easily went past their domestic opponents of plan-B. Xapso had to take on Sam "RattlesnK" Gawn's Anexis, although were unsuccessful and are also forced to leave the tournament after losing 6-16 on de_mirage_go.

One of two North American teams, Curse, were matched up with Publiclir. Everything was decided in a quick match and the Swedes crashed out of Copenhagen Games after 8-16 on de_nuke_se.

Results of lower bracket round three:

16-6 United Kingdom Anexis vs. Denmark Xapso de_mirage_go
8-16 United Kingdom Publiclir vs. United States Curse de_nuke_se
16-4 Norway Temp.no vs. Germany plan-B de_inferno_se
14-16 Poland ESC Gaming vs. Sweden Epsilon de_train_se

The fourth round is scheduled to start at 14:30 while the upper bracket semi-final is on the run.

They are impressive in the tournament so far, so yeah, they were probably underrated. They will have to confirm in next LANs though.

Well this is BS... There is probably no other more accurate format than this one (except making the LB Bo3, which can't happen otherwise the event would have to go on for a week...)
