Curse over LD, more advance in LB

More upsets are coming into the tournament as mousesports, Western Wolves, VeryGames and Curse.NA pick up the much needed wins to proceed to the next round of the lower bracket.

Eyes were on Epsilon, who were matched up with VeryGames after their loss to Ninjas in Pyjamas in the second round of the upper bracket. Epsilon surprised the audience, defeating ESC Gaming 16-14 in the previous lower bracket round.

Coming into the match against VeryGames, the Swedes won the knife round and as such were able to start as the favorable side of Counter-Terrorists. That did not help them win the first round nor the first gunround.

The first few opportunities offered to Epsilon, but Kenny "kennyS" Schrub smashed their chances, clutching three rounds in a row with some help from Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom to make the score 7-0.

One round by Epsilon certainly stopped some of VeryGames' momentum as the Swedish side was able to clinch four more and set the halftime score to 10-5. The pistol round was what the French-Belgian mixture needed to start thrashing Epsilon once again, forcing them to go home after losing 5-16.

One of the upsets of this lower bracket round is Curse.NA ousting Lemondogs fairly comfortably, defeating the Swedes 16-8 on de_dust2_se. Anexis also dissapointed to advance as their match with mousesports did not go well for the British, who lost 10-16 on mirage_go.

The last match of lower bracket saw Temp.no taken down 8-16 by Western Wolves on de_inferno_se.
