3DMAX unveil new CS:GO team

3DMAX have announced that they have created a new CS:GO division with French players.

3DMAX had been left without a CS:GO team to support following the disbandment of their Slovakia-based squad earlier in the month as a result of a series of mixed results.

It has now been confirmed that 3DMAX have decided to put together a whole new lineup, coached by Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavini, which suggests that he has decided to take a break from gaming.

Flavini will be joined by former Imaginary Gaming team-mate Michel "mshz" Nguyen in this new project, which also boasts Robin "GMX" Stahmer, who played for LDLC.com, and Benjamin "skall" Akiaya, a former member of eXtensive!.

Ozstrik3r to coach new 3DMAX team

Kévin "L0rdZz" Pascal, who played CS:Source for teams like aAa, redLine and 3DMAX, Joey "fxy0" Schlosser, who represented PyRoGen at ESWC France, make up the rest of the squad.

"I have been in contact with [3DMAX CEO] Jean "SAM7" Moral and [Head Manager] Nicolas "rOrO" Romero for several months now," a team statement read.

"Their adventure with GuardiaN and PhP has come to an end, and I am delighted that they turned their eyes to us.

"After Gamer Assembly and the disbandment of Imaginary Gaming and Amplitude, we contacted mshz and Ozstrik3r to build a new team. GMX was then added to the fold, making it the team you can now see.

"We will be in action at PXL and then at the French ESWC qualifier."

3DMAX now have the following CS:GO team:

Michel "mshz" Nguyen
Robin "GMX" Stahmer
Benjamin "skall" Akiaya
Kévin "L0rdZz" Pascal
Joey "fxy0" Schlosser

Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavini (coach)

he was around forever, how many guys with that much love for e-sports do you see around? HeatoN, Carn, f0rest and the G5, and that's pretty much about it.

Well, there is one slight problem - you should know when to stop. He should've years ago. Nothing against the guy, but even if he was the best IGL ever, it wouldn't save him...

Maybe he actually enjoyed the game too and didn't just play it for his 'career'.

Theirs obviously a reason why they liked to play with him, its because of his good in game leading and his experience for sure. I agree aim wise he is way to bad for the top level nowadays. I think he made a smart choice to decide hes gonna be a coach/manager for a team.

geno called the kick, not them. Well, fxy0 did go lan and finished like 3rd there, but that says nothing. They propably finished top 3 out of 2 good and 3 other 'decent' teams. The only reason I am saying this is because GMX hqxx and fxy0 were banned from every invite for cheating. We looked at the demo, I fake peaked and fxy0 shot the edge of the wall lmao..

i've played vs pretty much all the members from amplitude and these guys are actually better than nip, running hs everywhere instant hs etc, it wasn't that hard facing gtr, forest, xizt and friberg
