WebOne bring in HeUkA
WebOne have announced that they have completed their squad with the addition of Jérôme "HeUkA" Bassat.
The French team were created in January with two players from WebOne's former CS: 1.6 division plus two veterans in the shape of Charles "Xcit3R" Richez, who was part of the Factory team who beat SK at ESWC 2004, and ex-aAa member and Thomas "blacknight" Belhassen.
After finishing runners-up to redLine at InsaLan 8 in February, WebOne failed to impress at Gamers Assembly, finishing 5th-6th following defeats to iGamerz and WarLegend.
Belhassen ended up leaving the team for webSPELL after that event, which left WebOne in the market for a new player.
It has now been confirmed that Jérôme "HeUkA" Bassat, who played for teams like aAa and nSydia throughout his 1.6 career, will be stepping in and taking up the role of ingame leader.
"Blacknight left us because he was no longer on the same page as the rest of the team when it came to practice," Julien "Krav" Hernandez told vakarm.net.
"I knew he wanted to play with Jarod, and since we were not successful at Gamers Assembly, we spoke and he made a choice (I wish him luck in webSPELL).
"Regarding HeUkA, we got in touch with him, and after several discussions and matches, we decided to take him in.
"He will be the leader because he has a lot of experience in that role in national and international competitions, and it takes a huge weight off our mind."
With this change, WebOne now have the following lineup:
Julien "Krav" Hernandez
Brice "Br1ce" Durand
Sébastien "KenShaX" Loddé
Charles "Xcit3R" Richez
Jérôme "HeUkA" Bassat
Julien "Krav" Hernandez
