TCM qualify for TECHLABS Minsk

TCM-Gaming have booked a spot at TECHLABS Minsk later this month after winning the online qualifier over Natus Vincere.

After an eventful first day with all the teams who had signed up, TCM-Gaming and Ataw-Gaming.ru got through to the second day of the qualifier, in which they were paired with the six invited teams.

These eight sides were divided into two groups of four teams, with Virtus.pro, ELTZ, Natus Vincere and TCM-Gaming all progressing to the semi-finals.

In the last-four stage, Na´Vi defeated Virtus.pro to earn a final showdown against TCM, who had ased past ELTZ. These two finalists had already faced each other during the group stage, with the match ending in a 15-15 draw, so the excitement was definitely in the air as they were about to contest the one spot at TECHLABS Minsk.

GuardiaN led TCM to Minsk

Na´Vi came out on top of de_dust2_se with a 16-6 scoreline, inflicting TCM their first-ever map defeat, but then the mix team led by Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács picked up the pace and turned the score around by winning de_inferno_se 16-1 and de_mirage_go 16-14.

With this campaign, TCM-Gaming have qualified for TECHLABS Minsk on May 18th, where they will contest the first prize of $3,500 and spots at DreamHack Summer and the TECHLABS Global Final with ESC Gaming.

well sometimes it's pretty hard to play against mixteams when you're in a well structured team

Almost impossible to anti strat a mix team as they have no set tactics they will use from previous games. Every round something random will happen which you cant plan for and with the players TCM have they are likely to out aim most people.

You're definately not paying attention to the scene. The main reason VP lost is only because they did not play for 10 days, they were all on vacation prior playing these matches. Thats one thing and the second thing is that that the reason I said NaVi hasnt yet got better is because beating VP here did not mean anything at all as NaVi also beat NiP on dust2 ONLINE, but when they playied LAN, they couldnt show anything at all, so that is the reason why, so if they beat VP now online, well, big deal, they beat NiP as well online, but thats no an indicator. Hopefully they can show good result in the future, I'm only up for it...and wish them best of luck as they're one of my favorite teams, always been, just gotta be realistic and know all the facts bfore replying to posts...

So far navi are nobodys in cs: go, they havnt won dA shyyte and will never do so. disband comming up in a month or two. Bb navi chokers, now been over 2 years without winning any of whorthy kind. Simple as that - these guys are not winners any longer, 2010 and early 2011 was an exeption - one hit wonder with hunger and inner fire to win. Now everybody knows how to counter them style and I think it was to much succes for them to handle and now drinking vodka, singing karaokee and getting served unhealthy food at their mommas house 3 times per day.
