Nille leaves Wolves; izenb0 trialed

Western Wolves have announced on their official website that Nichlas "Nille" Busk has left the team with immediate effect.

The change comes as a huge surprise as it takes places just days before The Blast #5, an event that will attract almost every top Danish CS:GO team out there.

Due to personal reasons, Nichlas "Nille" Busk has decided to step down from the active lineup, with this being the first roster change the team have undergone since picking up Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen from Copenhagen Wolves in December.

The former Anexis team were very successful in their events with the new lineup, finishing runners-up to Ninjas in Pyjamas at Mad Catz Vienna and then, under Western Wolves' banner, at Copenhagen Games.

Nille exits Western Wolves

But in recent weeks they appeared to lose some steam as they placed third at Mad Catz Birmingham before finishing runners-up to TCM-Gaming in the RADEON Offensive #2 online tournament.

To field a five-man team for The Blast, Western Wolves decided to pick up EYES ON U's Sebastian "izenb0" Riising, who will be playing for the team on trial.

After the event in Rødekro, which will kick off on Thursday, Western Wolves will decide whether to keep Riising in their ranks or look elsewhere for a new fifth player.

"It's sad to see Nille leave us, but he's been struggling with some personal issues lately, and has not been motivated nor focused on the game, as much as he would like to," team manager Kevin "kevz" Mikkelsen told Western Wolves' website.

"It's a mutual decision that Nille is leaving us today, and there are no hard feelings whatsoever.

"This means, that a new face will be joining of for The Blast #5 which starts this very Thursday, the new face will be Sebastian "izenb0" Riising, who will play as our new fifth at The Blast #5.

"We're not sure who we are going to bring in as our new fifth yet, but it is something we will have a look at after The Blast."

Western Wolves' lineup now consists of the following players:

Denmark Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
Denmark Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen
Denmark Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen
Denmark Jacob "Pimp" Winneche
Denmark Sebastian "izenb0" Riising (trial)

anything that will give them a kick up the ass would be good. Seems like they lost motivation which isnt good so early in the lineup/career. Hopefully the change makes a difference. gl

Sad. Nille never seemed to find his source-level in GO. But he had his matches and moments. And recently, he really struggled with fragging. :( isenb0 is strong, but i dont see him being on the WW-level @ lan - maybe online. DNO. IMO - they shoud have picked up socN or smF. But let's see... GL in the future BACA^NILLE! GL sebZ :>

gl to them, those players always worked hard into the game on source and definitely deserve to be among the best and do well :). As I read above sometimes a change can temporarly boost your team, I hope it's going to be the case for them. Btw I don't know the danish scene and all the inside gossip but why didn't inzta accept/get the offer ? He is to be in a top team from what I've seen and WW could have been a great move.

Such an annoying problem in the e-sports community, people change teams like whores on a regular basis. What happened to signing contracts? Seems like the only time it'd feel appropriate, would be now. The main page of HLTV is all team changes, it's hard to keep track of it all.

Well, if anything there's always the mutual agreement and there's usually a reason even if there isn't always an official contract. Other positive news at least they don't charge per hour. :)

Oh it's not per hour, but it's weekly for sure. *see facebook HLTV update* oh look at that, KeenyS left VeryGammes... shocking. What happened to resolving issues and working through them as a team? But no, it's just easier to leave and then join another team.

Well, VG is kinda a different story. Top teams rarely change and they change once every while, but I do agree it's nothing like other sports like Football (Soccer?) where you have years worth of contracts.

Yeah, it's football :P and I agree. Besides, to some; it's not all about the money. Sometimes players don't leave because they love the club, the fans etc. etc. and that's so lacking in the e-sports world. Sponsors quickly figured that out, and are starting to sponsor the player itself, and not the team overall. How sad is that... sponsors know that the team isn't going to last, so they sponsors the players, knowing they will just find another team *sigh*

There are a very few teams who actually treat their organization like a beloved club (like football). Believe it or not regardless of what's been happening recently that used to be fnatic. Since 2006 fnatic's players treated them like "Barcelona" like a home. Whenever people leave they talk about how much they love the organization and many players end up coming back to it (like carn). Unfortunately for the scene, not many players have so much respect for their organization like they have done since 2006.

Seriously dude :D You have posted "butthurt" comments on gaming.dk, xplayn and now also here. :D I dont get it either. I'm all about loyalty and commitment aswell. But i guess we just have to face that this is also a "career-minded" game. And isenbo sees his chances for success and international recoqnition better with WW than EOU who haven't been playing to satisfaction lately.

Butthurt? This has nothing to do about being "butthurt". I just really don't get why a player stops his active career, just when they have reached the top. I will never be as good as they are, and I will never get the chance to play for WW, so I don't really have anything to be "butthurt" about. I dont question isenbo's decision, i would have done the exact same. I question Nille's decision.

ahhh ok ;) - Sorry well, the journey is the point. He has had a lot of fun, and one needs to stop at some point, right? He had a great run, and it has not been a waste. I remember reading an interview when h0lm stopped playing actively, where he said some great things about, what the journey itself had given him. He did not see all the time he spent as wasted. On the contrary he found consolation in the memories, LANS, friends and "teamskills" all that time had given him. I guess nille has other priorities in his life currently, which lead him to quit :)
