Troubley confirms mouz breakup

Tobias "Troubley" Tabbert has confirmed in an interview with 99Damage.de that his mousesports team have disbanded.

As HLTV.org had reported first hand, mouz's CS:GO division was in shambles after Manuel "approx" Zeitz and Andre "nooky" Utesch had decided to play alongside Michele "zonixx" Köhler, Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu and Benjamin "qk-Mantis" Oberlein in a new team called Swogger.

This trimmed down mouz's team to just two players, Tobias "Troubley" Tabbert and Finn "karrigan" Andersen, with the latter having played for Western Wolves as a stand-in in Tuesday's RaidCall EMS One Cup defeat to Copenhagen Wolves.

Tabbert has now confirmed that mouz's players have decided to go their separate ways while revealing that he has retired from gaming.

"On my part, I will draw the line here," he told 99Damage.de. "I have made the decision to close the Counter-Strike chapter.

"I don't know what the others on the team are doing now.

"I have been thinking about retiring from the competitive scene for a while. I built two teams in CS:GO by myself and failed two times.

"Since I will be having a lot of time in the future, I am thinking about switching to LoL."

The news represents a heavy blow to the plans of mousesports, who had opted to focus on the German scene when they released the UK-based squad led by Sam "RattlesnK" Gawn back in December.

The German organisation have not yet indicated whether they will start afresh by signing a new squad or stop supporting CS:GO.

OK, I hope he comes back then. Skill wise he probably hasnt even peaked yet. German scene just lacks stability which is probably why hes over all the bs.

They always feel like being the best because of the german Counter-Strike history. With like playing not much being good. Then they split up because they get mad because they don't win. Troubley said that it was a mistake to kick zonixx.

I don't think using "sourcer" instead would make much of a difference. still, you gotta admit that it is impressive how many lineups have been destroyed when nooky or steel were between them.

Whatever makes sense to you is irrelevant, it's enough that every comment you make creates so much hostility that you get 10+ comments to each one. What term you use doesn't change the fact you are doing it for the intention to rattle everyone's chains. In short, to troll. You can have your own opinion without having to attack half the community each time.

mantis and asmo sticked to n!faculty for about 3 years so I wouldn't call them clanhoppers and nooky played in mTw for ages.

nooky has kicked tons of players when he was in that onliner mTw lineup I bet they wont get to attend a single LAN with this Swogger lineup, they won't last more than a couple of weeks playing online.

who knows man, it's obvious that source players like to change players very frequently, look at VG (lol they kicked their best playa), WW, ex-Quantic, ex-Dynamic, the onliners at ex-mTw (0 LANs), the uk scene (especially Rattle), the french scene, etc. I'd say that at least a 90% of teams with source players have changed players. If you really think about it, most news about some of the players I mentioned are because of the lineup changes they make, lol.

In the UK not everyone learns a foreign language, if you go to a 'less skilled' school you generally won't learn a second language...But if you go to a grammar school you will have to learn at least one language, my school made us learn 2 until GCSEs where we only had to continue with one language.

After I read the German interview I must give Troubley some props. He admits that it was a fault to kick zonixx and that it was HIS fault. At least he shows some honesty.

I never saw this working with Mouz and Karrigan in the first place (ie 2011). His natural home is in a top Danish team - hope he parted amicably with fnatic and there aren't any bad feelings there :/
