Play CS:GO for free until Sunday

Valve has announced that it has decided to make CS:GO free of charge until Sunday.

All Steam users will be able to try out CS:GO over the weekend as Valve has made the game free of charge until Sunday at 21:00 .

Those who are interested in purchasing the game can benefit from a 50 per cent discount on the Steam store until Monday at 18:00 . You can also buy an "Operation Payback" pass at 50 per cent off the regular price.

Back in October, Valve made CS:GO available to everyone without charge during the ESWC, which helped to boost the game's player number.

lol, just create another account and start downloading the game. then, cancel the download and open the csgo.exe file in your steam folders. game will start ;)

per and cent are 2 different words, while percent is derived from latin per cento, it does not in fact mean per cent. 50 per cent doesn't make sense, because it does not imply 50 of what to the cent. percent on the other hand which is portrayed by the symbol %, which is what the writer is reiterating is spelled "percent".

this site has deleted 2 of my previous posts, when I've been asking questions & flaming about cs:GO, and I've been doing it in a proper way.. But when admins censored me I got a bit mad, because it wasn't justified. Feels like admins aren't trying to keep HLTV.org neutral, a bit more like they try to manipulate the site in some occasions. Really silly huh? We are stronger together!

If it goes to free to play people will be leaving csgo just because of cheaters. No one would play anymore csgo there would be cheaters everywhere! If they get banned no problem they can just create new acc and cheat again!

Well 1.6 had a problem with cheaters aswell. But i don't know if 1.6 ever lost players due to cheating. It always helped to play on servers with anticheats and/or admins. But ofcourse before cs:go could go f2p they should make a decent anticheat which would be regularly updated.

Ya I downloaded it. Played it on ESEA a few times and man thats a bad game. No stopsound, crouch hopping, silencer on colt, fast strafes etc.... It feels like your jogging instead of running. The maps are WAY OVER CLUTTERED. Should not have "CS" in front of its name.

since this free2play weekend there are a lot of cheaters on matchmaking. usually they team up with another one so you cannot kick him/them because valve devs are not thinking straight. why make a voting system when the majority cannot decide on whom to kick?
