Completely untrue and illogical. Steelseries products are very good. Ive been using the sensei for almost a year. I have used mx518, deathadder and a few zowies and the sensei is definitely the best. Ive had a steelseries 7g mechanical keyboard for god knows how many years. Smashed it countless times and it still works perfect. Ive never had a headset, but heard countless good things about the siberias. You still sound like a complete retard saying you wouldnt buy this headset because of its looks when its 50% off. Its just retarded, who gives a fuck how it looks, that has no bearing on the performance.

First of all, I wasn't talking about any other kind of peripheral except the headsets. Second, that's the big difference between you and me. I have owned the SS siberia V1 and V2 and several other headsets. I also have a soundcard which can power decent headsets. I know quality when I hear it. Third, I just find the CS:GO version extremely ugly. I can't help it. Concluding: I just don't want to buy anything that is ugly to me and from which I know is sound-quality-wise not so good. = I'd rather save up for a more expensive headset, but that's just the way I am.

Ok, just sounded like you were calling Steelseries shit in general when you said "instead of buying a pig in a poke (SS)" Yeah i have a sound card too, im also a musician and therefore very fussy about how things sound. In terms of headset sound, yes its a matter of opinion. But the general reviews and feedback from people i know have told me that the siberia v2 is very good. There are plenty of headsets that sound amazing, but the majority look like elaborate dental head gear. So would this stop you from buying them? I think you need to decide what you want, amazing sound or amazing looks. I doubt you'll find both in a headset. xD

I've used most of their products and they're utter shit. I received Siberia v2 + USB as a gift and got rid of them after 2 hours of use. For that money you can buy waaaaay better headsets. The mice also suck. From Ikari to Sensei, most problematic mice I've ever used. My Krait can be a grandfather, that's how old it is and it kicks ass. For those looking for decent/great gaming headsets/mice, NEVER buy SteelSeries.

I've never had a steelseries mouse or headset but I recently got the 6gv2 mechanical keyboard while it was on sale and it is the best one I've ever used. Really solidly built and really nice to use :D

I'm not a Razer fanboy. I'm more of a quality 'fanboy'. Even though I use Razer, Sennheiser [for example] make better audio. As for mice/pads/keyboard, the result is up to everybody to decide. I for one hate SS, worst quality ever received from a brand.
