Virtus, VeryGames to EMS One Finals

Virtus.pro and VeryGames have clinched the next two spots at RaidCall EMS One Finals, to be held on June 29-30, as they topped Raiders and n!faculty in group B.

Virtus started their campaign with a quick 16-4 victory over Finnish Raiders, who were playing without youngster Joel "jOELZ" Aalto, while VG opened up with a close 16-13 win versus n!faculty.

Second round paired up the two giants, who stayed neck and neck until the very end and wound up tying each other on de_nuke_se. n!faculty defeated Raiders on 16-12 on de_mirage.

VG will return to EMS One despite skipping DH

Final round saw Virtus.pro clinch the top seed in the group by taking down the German side 16-9, while VeryGames secured a trip to Cologne by defeating Raiders 16-2 on de_inferno_se.

Having finished top two in group B, Virtus.pro and VeryGames join Copenhagen Wolves and ESC Gaming, who advanced over Natus Vincere in group A, at RaidCall EMS One Finals.

RaidCall EMS One Finals participants:

Denmark Copenhagen Wolves Poland ESC Gaming
France VeryGames Russia Virtus.pro

Other four participants at the $35,000 event taking place in two weeks time in Cologne will be found later this week as groups C and D are set to play out tomorrow and Thursday.

something tells me VG will meet NiP (if they'll advance as first seed) in the 1st round of the quarter-finals, since the matchups between higher and lower seed teams will be made randomly.

I never did, I estimate them to what they are with their setup for DH Summer: not bad, but not very good. ESEA and ESL have done better.

ESL is ESL. You can't compare both. DH is good at its level. ESL, name says enough.
