nEophyte squad decided to replace Lukáš "vergiL" Majerik with former 3DMAX rifler Karel "sneix" Pavlica, HLTV.org has learned.

The change of Majerik comes as a surprise to the Czech and Slovakian community, as his former team has been recently putting up good results in both local and online European tournaments.

Even after winning a monthly finals of Go4CSGO and top placings at the regular online tournament hosted by ESL, the team chose to change one of their core players and bring in the CS:Source ENC 2008 champion.

"vergiL did not deliver good results, which were expected of him and since we have 5 events in front of us, it was needed to make a change and quickly adapt to it." David "KAPARZO" Lacina told HLTV.org.

Pavlica has been without an active team ever since 3DMAX disbanded in early April after going out in the early stages of Copenhagen Games and Mad Catz Vienna.

"We hope that Karel will come back to his CS:S level, which could improve our results in the future. Even though sometimes new lineups hurt in the beginning, it's only a matter of time until we improve our teamplay."

Pavlica will be seen in action with his new team at Prague Challenge on July 13th to 14th, if the event finds enough teams until the end of registrations.

nEophyte now boasts the following five:

eSuba no.1 here.. they won mzh, GX group B and GB league group... I see just one problem.. they were not available to see at lan long time :( but 29.6. at SGC - GX lan final

i think you need change team lineup nEophyte.FSP KAPARZO, vanto, vergiL, leskoe, STYKO :) dunno nwm if sneix is the best choice to use, i expect some more good and young players in czech and also i didnt think sneix will stay in neoph for long time becouse i think he is working and all other neph players are students so they have more time than sneix and i didnt think its good for them :) but gl sneix

I have played with him in about 2 teams at least and known him for 4 years or maybe more. Just because he says the czech/slovakian scene is complete shit which it is and only the top3 teams are worth anything, doesn't mean he behaves like a retard. It just means that what he says hurts the little egos of insignificant czech/slovak players in the little insignificant scene. /period

Sneix is not good as maybe oskar or kap1 not to mention to guardian. He was the lowest part of 3dmax (I think) so I don't know if that is good choice but I hope you'll win something BIG :D
