SLTV StarSeries VI viewer's guide

SLTV StarSeries VI finals will take place this week starting on Thursday with ESC, Na`Vi, NiP and Virtus.pro competing for the glory and the $6,000 first place prize.

SLTV StarSeries will once again feature a full double elimination best-of-three bracket its season VI finals event. Teams are seeded for first round matchups based on their online results.

The tournament will kick off tomorrow at 13:00 with one or two matches a day all the way up until Sunday, when the grand final is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 at CyberSports ARENA.

Will NiP exact revenge on Virtus.pro this weekend?

In the grand final the team coming from the lower bracket needs to win three maps in the best-of-five to clinch the title, while the upper bracket winners will start with a 1-0 lead and only require two map wins.

SLTV will provide official streams in multiple languages, but no GOTV will be available for any of the matches. Below is the viewer's guide so you know when to tune in for your favorite team's matches.

it's because sltv starseries has multiple games at the same finals event, and their sponsors (afaik) want all the games to be played on the main stage (and for the event to be more drawn out - it give them more exposure).

I guess thats understandable, but I feel its definitely possible to fill in the gaps with more games with a different tournament structure, while still getting to play the important games on stage, you just need a decent staff to be able to organize it and differentiate between the important and less important matches. Makes me so jealous of sc2, their tournaments are amazing, its like 2-3 days of games all day.

that's the difference between playing all the games on stage and playing all the important games on stage. every game at sltv is played on the main stage.
