NiP come back to defeat Na`Vi

NiP has come back after losing de_mirage_go to win the next two maps in the series (16-2 de_train_se, 16-10 de_dust2_se) to advance to the SLTV StarSeries VI upper bracket final.

NiP looked reborn after a short break and won the pistol round to jump on a quick 3-0 lead as counter-terrorists on de_train_se. They also mowed down Na`Vi's outside start on the fourth round.

Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson scored two AWP kills as NiP made it 5-0. Sixth round was another landslide, while Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg gobbled up some save round frags after to make it 7-0.

Another team effort made it 8-0 as four NiP players scored a kill, while Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's three AK47 frags only allowed him to save his weapon, as Natus Vincere continued to struggle.

Teslenko put that AK47 to good use with two kills, and Yegor "markeloff" Markelov chipped another three in to give Na`Vi their first round. Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund replied with his auto-sniper though, making it 9-1.

Lindberg's quad kill weapon round forced the home-team to save and made it 11-1, before Arseny "ceh9" Trynozhenko replied with three AK47 kills and a one-on-one clutch to give Na`Vi their second round.

Xizt was instrumental in NiP's comeback to win the series 

Their joy was short-lived as NiP's leader Richard "Xizt" Landström put up three frags, followed up by two on the final round along wtih a double from Alesund, as NiP extended their lead to 13-2.

Second half was a wash as NiP won yet another terrorist side pistol round, with Johansson and Lindberg putting up two frags each on the third round to force a third map in the series.

The Swedes continued rolling on de_dust2_se with a pistol round that led to a 3-0 lead, something NiP is yet to lose on LAN. Na`Vi did their best to try to change that though, starting with Ischuk's one-on-four heroics on round four.

NiP's B split was then shut down in middle, and Alesund's clever counter-terrorist spawn ploy didn't pan out as Na`Vi won their second round, before tying the game at three after Ischuk's and Trynozhenko's two-on-three retake.

Na`Vi looked to be drawing the short end of the stick on round four, but a well timed push and three kills by Markelov kept the Ukrainians winning. After stopping another NiP rush the locals led 5-3, but then the house of cards collapsed.

f0rest's AWP caused havoc in the Na`Vi camp 

Alesund's kills allowed NiP to win a save round, and the underdogs could never recover. NiP's catwalk hit with Adam "friberg" Friberg running up through the spawn ramp made it 6-5 after Na`Vi's save.

Another gave the Ninjas a 7-5 lead, and Trynozhenko's one-on-two clutch was unsuccessful, as Alesund made it 8-5. NiP won the final two rounds of the half with quick B attacks, leading 10-5 at half.

Teslenko's squad refused to go down without a fight, as they won a three-on-five pistol round and the consecutive NiP save rounds to cut their deficit into 8-10. A quick B split with good trading then effectively tied the game, as NiP had to save.

Tied at ten, NiP switched into the higher gear we sometimes talk about. They completely shut down the entire map with solid AWP play from Lindberg and Johansson, who picked up four kills on round twenty-four.

Na`Vi were forced to save as NiP gained game point, and wasted no time closing the series with a 16-10 win on the third and final map. Match statistics below are from the entire series.
